2015թ. հուլիսի 10-ին Ուֆայում կայացավ ՇՀԿ անդամ պետությունների ղեկավարների խորհրդի նիստը, որին ելույթով հանդես եկավ ՀՀ Նախագահ Ս. Սարգսյանը

Ռուզաննա Մալխասյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է. 

«2015թ. հուլիսի 10-ին Ուֆայում կայացավ ՇՀԿ անդամ պետությունների ղեկավարների խորհրդի նիստը, որին ելույթով հանդես եկավ ՀՀ Նախագահ Ս. Սարգսյանը: Ուֆայի գագաթնաժողովի արդյունքներով ստորագրվեցին մի շարք փաստաթղթեր, այդ թվում՝ Հայաստանի Հանրապետությանը ՇՀԿ երկխոսության գործընկերոջ կարգավիճակ շնորհելու մասին որոշումը: Հայաստանի Հանրապետությանը ՇՀԿ երկխոսության գործընկերոջ կարգավիճակ շնորհելու մասին հուշագիրը ստորագրվեց 2016թ. ապրիլի 16-ին ՉԺՀ մայրաքաղաք Պեկինում գտնվող ՇՀԿ կենտրոնակայանում»,- նշված է ՀՀ-ՇՀԿ համագործակցության մասին ՀՀ ԱԳՆ կայքում տեղակայված տեղեկագրում:

Շանհայի համագործակցության կազմակերպությունը (ՇՀԿ) եվրասիական քաղաքական, տնտեսական և անվտանգության կազմակերպություն է։ Աշխարհագրական շրջանակի և բնակչության առումով այն աշխարհի ամենամեծ տարածաշրջանային կազմակերպությունն է, որն ընդգրկում է Եվրասիայի տարածքի մոտավորապես 60%-ը, աշխարհի բնակչության 40%-ը և համաշխարհային ՀՆԱ-ի ավելի քան 30%-ը։
ՇՀԿ-ն Շանհայի հնգյակի իրավահաջորդն է՝ անվտանգության փոխադարձ համաձայնագրի, որը ձևավորվել է 1996 թվականին Չինաստանի, Ղազախստանի, Ղրղզստանի, Ռուսաստանի և Տաջիկստանի միջև։ 2001 թվականի հունիսի 15-ին այս երկրների և Ուզբեկստանի ղեկավարները հանդիպեցին Շանհայում՝ հայտարարելու նոր կազմակերպության՝ ավելի խորը քաղաքական և տնտեսական համագործակցությամբ. ՇՀԿ-ի կանոնադրությունը ստորագրվել է 2002 թ. հուլիսի 7-ին և ուժի մեջ է մտել 2003 թ. սեպտեմբերի 19-ին։ Այնուհետև նրա անդամակցությունն ընդլայնվել է մինչև ութ պետություն, որոնց միացել են Հնդկաստանը և Պակիստանը 2017 թ. հունիսի 9-ին։ Մի քանի երկրներ ներգրավված են որպես դիտորդներ կամ գործընկերներ։

ՇՀԿ-ն ղեկավարվում է Պետությունների ղեկավարների խորհրդի (ՊՂԽ) կողմից՝ նրա որոշումներ կայացնող բարձրագույն մարմնի կողմից, որը հավաքվում է տարին մեկ անգամ։ Անդամների միջև կանոնավոր կերպով զորավարժություններ են անցկացվում նաև ահաբեկչության և այլ արտաքին սպառնալիքների դեմ համագործակցությունն ու համակարգումը խթանելու և տարածաշրջանային խաղաղությունն ու կայունությունը պահպանելու համար։

Կազամակերպության կենտրոնակայանը գտնվում է Շանհայ և Տաշքենդ քաղաքներում:
