«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Համաշխարհային առաջատար լրատվամիջոցներից մեկը՝ Associated Press գործակալությունն օրերս անդրադարձել է հայաստանյան կապին և մասնավորաբար նշել, որ Team Telecom Armenia-ն նոյեմբերի 15-ին ամբողջությամբ կդադարեցնի 2G շարժական կապի ցանցի աշխատանքը՝ դառնալով Կովկասում առաջին օպերատորը, որն իրականացրել է նման քայլ։ Ընկերությունը տեղեկացնում է, որ այս որոշումը մաս է կազմում լայնածավալ արդիականացման և օպտիմիզացման ծրագրի, որի նպատակն է ազատված ռեսուրսները ուղղել նորագույն՝ 4G եւ 5G տեխնոլոգիաների զարգացմանը։

Associated Press-ի հրապարակման մեջ նշվում է, որ այս քայլը կբերի ոչ միայն կապի որակի բարձրացման և ցանցի արդյունավետության աճի, այլև կնպաստի անվտանգության ամրապնդմանը և էներգիայի սպառման նվազեցմանը։ Ըստ լրատվամիջոցի, Team Telecom Armenia-ի գլխավոր տնօրեն Հայկ Եսայանը հայտարարել է. «Գիտակցելով ժամանակին օպտիմիզացման և նորագույն տեխնոլոգիաների ներդրման կարևորությունը՝ մենք պատրաստ ենք առաջինը ձեռնարկել այս քայլը։ Այն թույլ կտա արդիականացնել ծածկույթը, բարձրացնել ցանցի արդյունավետությունն ու զգալիորեն բարելավել որակը»։

Associated Press-ը նշում է, որ սա փաստացի 30 տարվա պատմության ավարտն է. «Հայաստանում 2G կապը գործարկվել էր դեռեւս 1995 թվականին։ Սակայն, ըստ ընկերության, այն այլեւս չի բավարարում ժամանակակից պահանջներին։ «Հին» տեխնոլոգիայի անջատումից հետո ավելի քան 1000 բազային կայաններ կգործեն բացառապես ժամանակակից ստանդարտներով՝ ապահովելով բաժանորդներին ավելի հուսալի և արագ կապով: Ընկերությունը շեշտում է, որ նախկինում 2G ցանցում բաժանորդներն ունենում էին գրեթե զրոյական հասանելիություն շարժական ինտերնետի ծառայություններին, ինչը սահմանափակում էր ժամանակակից հաղորդակցական գործիքների կիրառումը։ Նոր սերնդի ցանցերը, հակառակը, թույլ են տալիս միաժամանակ օգտվել ինչպես ձայնային, այնպես էլ ինտերնետ ծառայություններից՝ զգալիորեն բարձրացնելով օգտագործման հարմարավետությունն ու արդյունավետությունը»։

Լրատվամիջոցը նաև նշում է, որ Team Telecom Armenia-ն վերջին տարիներին առանձնացել է որպես տեխնոլոգիական առաջատար տարածաշրջանում։ Ընկերությունը առաջիններից էր աշխարհում, որը ներդրեց 25G-PON օպտիկամանրաթելային ցանցը, հնարավորություն տալով մինչեւ 25 Գբիթ/վրկ ինտերնետ ծառայություններ։ Բացի այդ, ընկերությունը դարձավ առաջինը Հայաստանում, որը իրականացրեց IPO և թողարկեց կայուն պարտատոմսեր` ներգրավված միջոցները ուղղելով ցանցի արդիականացմանը և կանաչ նախագծերին։
