Ամերիկյան Fox News-ը հրապարակել է ԱՄՆ առաջին տիկնոջ՝ իր ամուսնու՝ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի միջոցով Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինին ուղղված նամակի պատճենը։ Ուղերձում Մելանյա Թրամփը կոչ է արել Ռուսաստանի նախագահին «պաշտպանել երեխաներին» և հաղթահարել ազգերի միջև եղած պառակտումները։

Fox News-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ Ռուսաստանի նախագահն այն անմիջապես կարդացել է ամերիկյան և ռուսական պատվիրակությունների ներկայությամբ։

Նամակի տեքստում առաջին տիկինը նշել է, որ յուրաքանչյուր երեխա, անկախ ծագման երկրից կամ սոցիալական կարգավիճակից, «ունի նույն երազանքները՝ սիրո, հնարավորության և վտանգից պաշտպանության մասին»։

Ուկրաինան պնդում է, որ Ռուսաստանը համացանցում հարկադիր որդեգրման է առաջարկում բռնի կերպով արտաքսված ուկրաինացի անչափահասներին։
