Սաուդյան Արաբիայում կառուցում են աշխարհի ամենաբարձր երկնաքերը՝ Jeddah Tower-ը, որը կգերազանցի Բուրջ Խալիֆային

Սաուդյան Արաբիայում Ջիդդա երկնաքերի կառուցումը նախատեսվում է ավարտին հասցվել մինչև 2028 թվականի օգոստոսը, Newsweek-ում հայտնել է նախագծի հեղինակ ճարտարապետական ընկերությունը։

Նախագիծը ստեղծել է ամերիկացի ճարտարապետ Ադրիան Սմիթը, որը Չիկագոյում գործող Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture (AS+GG) ընկերության համահիմնադիրն է։ Ավարտից հետո Ջիդդա աշտարակը կգերազանցի ներկայիս ռեկորդակիր՝ Դուբայում գտնվող Բուրջ Խալիֆա երկնաքերին, որը նույնպես նախագծվել է Սմիթի կողմից։ Ջիդդա աշտարակի բարձրությունը կկազմի ավելի քան 1000 մետր, ինչը գրեթե 173 մետրով ավելի բարձր է Բուրջ Խալիֆայից։

Երկնաքերը կառուցվում է Ջիդդայի մոտ գտնվող Օբհուր ծոցի հյուսիսային մասում և կլինի 20 միլիարդ դոլար արժողությամբ Ջիդդա տնտեսական քաղաքի (նախկինում՝ Kingdom City) նախագծի կենտրոնական մասը։

Ճարտարապետների խոսքով՝ 2025 թվականի հուլիսի դրությամբ շինարարությունը հասել է շենքի միջուկի 69-րդ հարկին, և բետոնի կեսն արդեն դրվել է։ Շենքի ճակատային մասը նախագծված է «արմավենու տերևների փնջի» տեսքով, որը խորհրդանշում է նոր աճ և կյանք։

Ջիդդա աշտարակը կլինի խառը օգտագործման շինություն, որը կներառի շքեղ հյուրանոց, գրասենյակներ, բնակարաններ և դիտակետ՝ աշխարհի ամենաբարձր՝ 157-րդ հարկում: Շենքը կունենա նաև «աշխարհի ամենաժամանակակից վերելակային համակարգերից մեկը»՝ 59 վերելակով, այդ թվում՝ հինգ երկհարկանի: Դիտակետ տանող վերելակները կշարժվեն վայրկյանում 10 մետր արագությամբ։

Երկնաքերի շինարարությունը սկսվել է 2013 թվականին, սակայն նախագիծը մի քանի տարով հետաձգվել է COVID-19 համավարակի պատճառով: Աշխատանքները պաշտոնապես վերսկսվել են 2025 թվականի հունվարին։

Ընկերության տվյալներով՝ Ջիդդա աշտարակի կառուցման արժեքը գաղտնի է, սակայն ընկերության կայքում նշվում է, որ նախագիծը գնահատվում է մոտավորապես 1.2 միլիարդ դոլար։

Նախագիծը նախատեսվում է դառնալ Ջիդդայի և Սաուդյան Արաբիայի նոր խորհրդանիշը, ինչպես նաև աշխարհի ամենաբարձր շենքը, որը կսահմանի նոր ռեկորդներ ճարտարապետության և ճարտարագիտության ոլորտում։
