Թե՛ ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, թե՛ Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը, ամեն մեկն իր ձևով, հետաքրքրված չեն ռուսական միջնորդությամբ և առհասարակ Անդրկովկասում ՌԴ-ի ազդեցության պահպանմամբ և բնականաբար, երջանկություն են փնտրում արտասահմանում. այս մասին ասել է ՌԴ Պետդումայի ԱՊՀ հարցերով հանձնաժողովի նախագահի առաջին տեղակալ Կոնստանտին Զատուլինը:

«Ակնհայտ է, որ այս բոլոր գործողությունները որպես անուղղակի նպատակ են հետապնդում ոչ միայն Ադրբեջանի և Թուրքիայի նկրտումների բավարարումը, այլև Միացյալ Նահանգներին տարածաշրջանային խնդիրների մեջ ներքաշելու փորձը՝ մերժելով Ռուսաստանի ազդեցությունը այս տարածաշրջանում և պայքարելով այդ ազդեցության դեմ։ Բայց եթե Ալիևը հետապնդում է իր և Թուրքիայի ազգային շահերը, ապա Փաշինյանը պարզապես դավաճանում է իր հայրենակիցներին, ինչը, ընդհանուր առմամբ, նրա համար առաջին դեպքը չէ՝ հաշվի առնելով նրա փորձը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում», - նշել է պատգամավորը:

Նշենք, որ օգոստոսի 8-ին Վաշինգտոնում տեղի է ունեցել Ադրբեջանի, Հայաստանի և ԱՄՆ առաջնորդների եռակողմ հանդիպումը, որից հետո Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը և Իլհամ Ալիևը՝ Դոնալդ Թրամփի մասնակցությամբ, ստորագրել են համատեղ հռչակագիր: Հռչակագրի առանձին կետ նվիրված է տրանսպորտային հաղորդակցությունների բացմանը և Ադրբեջանի հիմնական տարածքի և Նախիջևանի Ինքնավար Հանրապետության միջև անխոչընդոտ հաղորդակցության ապահովմանը: Հայաստանի տարածքում կիրականացվի հատուկ նախագիծ՝ «Թրամփի երթուղին միջազգային խաղաղության և բարգավաճման համար», որը նախատեսում է ԱՄՆ աջակցություն այս երթուղու ապահովման գործում:
