Վարչապետ Կարեն Կարապետյանն Ամանորի և Սուրբ Ծննդյան տոների կապակցությամբ այցելել է ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարության N զորամասի մարտական հենակետ: Վարչապետը ծանոթացել է զինծառայողների սոցիալ-կենցաղային պայմաններին, զրուցել նրանց հետաքրքրող հարցերի մասին՝ թեյի սեղանի շուրջ:

Կարեն Կարապետյանը շնորհավորել է Հայոց բանակի զինծառայողներին գալիք տոների կապակցությամբ և շնորհակալություն հայտնել անձնվեր ծառայության համար: Վարչապետը նշել է, որ ժողովուրդը հպարտանում է մեր զինվորներով, ովքեր պատվով և պատասխանատվությամբ են պաշտպանում մեր պետական սահմանները: Կարեն Կարապետյանն ընդգծել է, որ զինվորները միշտ գտնվում են պետության ուշադրության կենտրոնում:

«Մենք շատ լավ երկիր ենք ունենալու, որևէ կասկած երբևէ չունենաք, անկախ նրանից, թե ինչ դժվարություն ունենք, ինչ խնդիր ունենք: Մենք չափազանց շահագրգռված ենք, որ դուք ձեր ծառայությունը, ձեր պարտքը կատարելուց լինեք հպարտ, որովհետև ավելի մեծ բավարարվածություն իր երկիրը սիրող մարդու մոտ չի կարող լինել, եթե ինքն իր երկրի ծառան է:

Ես աշխատանքային փորձիս ընթացքում ղեկավարել եմ մեծ ու փոքր ընկերություններ, կյանքն ավելի թեթև է եղել, բայց եթե այս տեղում ես կարողանամ բավարարված զգալ, որ իմ ծառայությունը ճիշտ եմ մատուցում, դրանից մեծ գնահատական, հաճույք չկա, անկախ նրանից՝ անքուն գիշերներ են, ծանր պայմաններ, ընտանիքին տեսնել-չտեսնել»:

Զինծառայողների հետ զրույցում, անդրադառնալով նախօրեին, հայ-ադրբեջանական պետական սահմանին դիվերսիոն խմբի ներթափանցման փորձին, վարչապետ Կարեն Կարապետյանը նշել է, որ դիրքի անձնակազմը սխրանքի ու անձնազոհության գնով է լուծել իր առջև դրված խնդիրը՝ պաշտպանելով երկրի սահմանները: Վարչապետի խոսքով, սահմանին կանգնած զինծառայողների վստահությունն ու վճռականությունն անընդհատ դրական ազդակներ է փոխանցում նաև հանրությանը:
