Япония считает прискорбными тарифные меры США

Правительство Японии пока выясняет детали решения президента США Дональда Трампа о повышении пошлин на сталь и алюминий до 50%, однако считает тарифные меры американской администрации прискорбными.

«Мы в курсе данного заявления [о повышении пошлин на сталь и алюминий]. Прежде всего мы будем следить за конкретным содержанием мер, которые станут ясны позже. В любом случае мы считаем серию тарифных мер правительства США крайне прискорбной и решительно призываем пересмотреть их», - сказал генсек японского кабмина Ёсимаса Хаяси, отвечая на вопрос о влиянии такого шага Вашингтона на экономику и ход торговых переговоров между Японией и США.

В феврале Трамп распорядился ввести пошлины в размере 25% на весь импорт стали и алюминия, что вызвало серьезную обеспокоенность Токио. Японская сторона неоднократно призывала США пересмотреть эти тарифные меры, а также другие пошлины, в том числе 25-процентные на импорт автомобилей и запчастей, а также на весь импорт из страны в 24%.

Японская сторона вступила в торговые переговоры с США и провела уже несколько раундов, на них Токио представляет министр по восстановлению экономики Рёсэй Акадзава. Пока стороны не пришли к договоренности.
