Մայիսի 11-ին եկեղեցին կնշի Կարմիր կիրակին

Հինանց շրջանի գունագեղ կիրակիներից Ս. Զատկին հաջորդող երրորդ կիրակին Կարմիր է կոչվում՝ «զի Տէրն երեւի որպէս ի Զատկի օրն Կիրակի»: Կարմիր Կիրակին ընդգծում է քրիստոնեական քաջությունը։

Արարատյան հայրապետական թեմից մանրամասնում են, որ կարմիր անունով հիշատակվում է Քրիստոսի թափած արյունը մեր փրկության համար և խորհրդանշում Տիրոջ արյամբ ծաղկած հաստատված եկեղեցին:  Կարմիր կիրակին նվիրված է նաև ավետարանական այն պատմությանը, թե ինչպես Հիսուս հերթական անգամ երևաց աշակերտներին Տիբերիայի լճի ափին: Պետրոսը վերականգնվեց իր պաշտոնում. Քրիստոս նրան երեք անգամ հարցրեց. «Սիմո՛ն, Հովնանի՛ որդի, սիրու՞մ ես ինձ»: Պետրոսը երեք անգամ պատասխանեց Հիսուսին՝ վստահեցնելով. «Այո՛, Տե՛ր, Դու գիտես, որ սիրում եմ Քեզ»: Ի պատասխան այդ վստահեցմանը՝ Տերը Պետրոսին հանձնարարեց. «Արածեցրո՛ւ Իմ ոչխարներին» (Հովհաննես 21:1-19):

Կարմիր գույնի խորհրդանիշներին անդրադառնալով՝ տեղեկանում ենք, որ Եսայի մարգարեն այն որպես հաղթական գույն է համարել. «Ո՞վ է սա, որ սուրալով գալիս է Եդովմից, որի զգեստները Բոսորի կարմրությունն ունեն, գեղեցիկ պատմուճանով և հուժկու զորությամբ…ինչո՞ւ կարմիր են զգեստներդ հնձանահարի հանդերձների նման» (Եսայի 63:1-2): Քրիստոնեությունը երբ ուզեց իր Հարուցյալ Փրկչին պատկերով ներկայացնել, զգեստավորեց նրան կարմիրով։ Ուրեմն Կարմիր Կիրակին հիշեցնում է մեզ Քրիստոսի Հարությամբ ապահովված մեր կյանքի կարևորագույն հաղթանակը, թե մեր քրիստոնեական կյանքը պայքար է չար զորությունների դեմ, որոնք մարդուն նվաստացնում են ու ցեխին հավասարեցնում:

Կարմիր Կիրակին մեզ այցելում է ապրիլին կամ մայիսին, այսինքն տարվա այն եղանակին, երբ նոր վերազարթնած բնական կյանքը պայքարի է դուրս գալիս ցրտի, խստաշունչ հովի, եղյամի և այն բոլորի դեմ, որոնք սպառնում են արթնացող կյանքին։ Կարող է պատահել, որ նոր բացված, չհասած պտուղները սառեն վերահաս եղյամից, սակայն ծառի և տունկի կյանքը շարունակում է իր գոյությունը՝ ապագայում պտղաբերելու հույսով։ Կյանքը շարունակում է իր ընթացքը և հաղթանակը, որովհետև արևը և եղանակը, որոնք օրըստօրե ավելի են տաքանում՝ ի նպաստ նրանց են (Հովսեփ ավագ քահանա Հակոբյան՝ քարոզ Կարմիր կիրակի օրվա առիթով):
