Չինաստանը կարողացել է դանդաղեցնել Երկրի պտույտն ու երկարացնել օրվա տևողությունը

ՆԱՍԱ-ն հայտարարել է, որ Չինաստանում կա հսկայական ամբարտակ, որը կարող է ազդել մոլորակի ուղեծրի վրա։

2012 թվականին ավարտված «Երեք կիրճեր» ամբարտակը հատում է Յանցզի գետը Սանդուպինգ քաղաքի մոտ և տեղակայված հզորությամբ համարվում է աշխարհի ամենամեծ էլեկտրակայանը։

Դրա լայնությունը 2,335 մետր է, իսկ բարձրությունը՝ ծովի մակարդակից 185 մետր։ Շինարարության ընդհանուր արժեքը կազմել է 20.4 միլիարդ դոլար։

Ամբարտակը կարող է պահել մոտ 40 կիլոմետր խորանարդ ջուր, որը համարժեք է 40 տրիլիոն գալոնի։ Սա հանգեցնում է Երկրի զանգվածի տեղաշարժի, որը, ըստ ՆԱՍԱ-ի հաշվարկների, օրվա տևողությունը մեծացնում է 0.06 միկրովայրկյանով։

Այն նաև մոլորակը մի փոքր ավելի ուռուցիկ է դարձնում հասարակածային շրջանում և ավելի հարթ՝ բևեռներում։
