«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Արարատ լեռը վաղուց է կորսված որպես աշխարհագրական կետ։ Սակայն հայության համար այն մշտապես եղել է յուրատեսակ խորհրդանիշ, որի հանդեպ ևս այսօր փորձում են ոտնձգություն կատարել օրվա իշխանությունները: Իսկ կարո՞ղ է, արդյոք, թուրքամետ վեկտորին կողմնորոշված գործող իշխանությունը, ի վերջո, ստիպել հրաժարվել նաև հայերի խորհրդանիշ Արարատից: Կարո՞ղ են, արդյոք, հասնել Հայոց ցեղասպանության մոռացության ու ուրացման: Կարո՞ղ են հաջողության հասնել իրենց ջանքերում՝ ժամանակի հետ հասնել ազգային արժեքների՝ լեզվի, Քրիստոնեության, պատմական Հայրենիքի, Ցեղասպանության մոռացման:

Ֆիլմի գաղափարը պատկանում է Վիկտոր Սողոմոնյանին, սցենարի հեղինակը Բենիամին Մաթևոսյանն է, ռեժիսորը՝ Արթուր Սարիբեկյանը, պրոդյուսերը՝ Սուրեն Հովնանյանը: Ֆիլմը արտադրվել է «Alpha Media House»-ի Alpha Cinema Production-ի կողմից։

Սցենարի հեղինակ Բենիամին Մաթևոսյանը «Փաստի» հետ զրույցում նշում է նման ֆիլմ ստեղծելու անհրաժեշտության մասին. «Հայոց ցեղասպանության 110-րդ տարելիցն ինքնին կարևոր օր է, սակայն Հայաստանի իշխանությունների կողմից վարվող և խրախուսվող ժխտողական քաղաքականության համատեքստում կարևոր էր ապրիլի 24-ին պատրաստել այնպիսի մի հետազոտություն, այնպիսի գործ, որը նույնիսկ երկար տարիներ անց չի կորցնի իր արդիականությունը»:
