«Մայրս աշխարհի ամենահամեստ ու բարի կինն է: Ով նրան ճանաչում է, նույնը կասի: Այնպես չէ, որ իմ մայրն է, դրա համար եմ ասում, ես շատ ռեալիստ եմ: Կարող էի ասել՝ մայրս շատ խորամանկ կամ հումորով կին է, բայց այդպես չէ: Ես բնավորությամբ նրան եմ նման:

Կյանքի դժվարությունները, որոնք ես հաղթահարել եմ, ինձ ավելի խելացի են դարձրել: Երբեք որևէ մեկին չեմ մեղադրել իմ հիասթափությունների ու դժվարությունների ժամանակ, եթե այդ պահին այդպես է եղել, ուրեմն այդպես պիտի լիներ:

Աստված գուցե այդպես է արել, որ հետո ավելի լավ տարիներ լինեն: Ես երբեք չէի պատկերացնի, որ կյանքում ինձ որևէ մեկը կճանաչի որպես երգիչ Արկադի Դումիկյան: Բայց այդպես պիտի լիներ:

Ես որդի ունեմ, ու իմ նպատակը մեծ դահլիճներ լցնելը չէ: Ուզում եմ, որ վաղը, երբ ինչ-որ տեղ ասեն՝ Արկադիի որդին է, ասեն, որ հայրդ շատ լավ մարդ էր: Ուզում եմ, որ դա որդուս ուժ ու մոտիվացիա տա, որ ինքն էլ այդպիսին լինի»,- Սոնա Սաֆարյանի հետ հարցազրույցի ժամանակ անկեղծացել է երգիչ Արկադի Դումիկյանը:
