Հայաստանում ԱՄՆ դեսպանը ճամպրուկային տրամադրությունների մեջ է

Միացյալ Նահանգներում տեղի ունեցող տեկտոնական փոփոխությունների, այդ թվում՝ նաև արտաքին քաղաքականության նոր դոկտրինի նախապատրաստման շրջանակում պետքարտուղար Մարկո Ռուբիոն հրահանգ է տվել ռևիզիայի ենթարկել բոլոր դեսպանների գործունեության էֆեկտիվությունը, պարզել, թե ինչո՞վ են զբաղվել։ Ստուգելու են հատկապես ֆինանսական խնդիրները, քանի որ USAID-ն այժմ փաստացի կազմալուծված է, իսկ նրա գործառույթները Պետքարտուղարությունն է իրականացնում։

Դեսպանների մեծ մասը նշանակված է եղել դեմոկրատական վարչակազմի կողմից, և, Հայաստանում, օրինակ, ԱՄՆ դեսպանատունն ուղղակիորեն աջակցություն է ցուցաբերել գործող իշխանություններին՝ շատ դեպքերում աչք փակելով որոշ գործընթացների վրա՝ իրականացնելով դեմոկրատական վարչախմբի արտաքին քաղաքականության հիմնական լիբերալ գլոբալիստական թեզերը։

Դա է պատճառը, որ նշանակումից հետո գերակտիվություն ցուցաբերող Քրիստինա Քվինը, կարծես, անհետացել է ռադարներից։ Նախքան Դոնալդ Թրամփի ընտրությունը՝ նա ակտիվ հանդիպումներ էր ունենում, միջամտում պետական կառավարման հարցերին, որոշ դեպքերում՝ ընդհուպ հրահանգներ տալիս Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին։ Դեսպանի պասիվացումը վկայում է, որ նա մազից է կախված, չի բացառվում՝ առաջիկայում հրաժեշտ տա պաշտոնին։ Փոխելու են նաև ՌԴ-ում ԱՄՆ դեսպան Լին Թրեյսիին, ով մինչ Ռուսաստանում նշանակվելը դեսպանն էր Հայաստանում։
