Իսրայելում հայտնաբերված հին պապիրուսը Հռոմեական կայսրությունում ֆինանսական հանցագործություն է բացահայտել

Ավստրիայի գիտությունների ակադեմիայի, Վիեննայի և Երուսաղեմի եբրայական համալսարանի գիտնականները հայտնաբերել են եզակի հին պապիրուս, որը լույս է սփռում Հռոմեական կայսրության ժամանակաշրջանի քրեական գործի վրա։ Իսրայելի հնությունների վարչության արխիվում հայտնաբերված փաստաթուղթը նկարագրում է խոշոր ֆինանսական հանցագործություն՝ Հրեաստանի և Արաբիայի նահանգներում ստրուկների տվյալների կեղծման և հարկերից խուսափելու մասին: Աշխատանքը հրապարակվել է Tyche ամսագրում։

Այս հունարեն պապիրուսը, որը պարունակում է 133 տող տեքստ, երկար ժամանակ աննկատ է մնացել, քանի որ այն սխալմամբ դասակարգվել է՝ որպես նաբաթյան։ Միայն 2014 թվականին դրա իրական էությունը բացահայտվել է, որը հայտնաբերել է Եբրայական համալսարանի պրոֆեսոր Հաննա Քոթոն Պալտիելը:

Նոր ուսումնասիրության ընթացքում հետազոտողների թիմը պարզել է, որ փաստաթուղթը ներկայացնում է Բար Կոխբայի ապստամբության նախօրեի (մ.թ. 132–136) դատավարությունը: Պապիրուսը նկարագրում է երկու մեղադրյալների՝ Գադալիուսի և Սաուլոսի դեմ գործը, ովքեր կազմակերպել են ստրուկների կեղծ վաճառքն ու ազատումը հարկերից խուսափելու համար։ Գադալիան՝ նոտարի որդի և, հնարավոր է, հռոմեական քաղաքացի, ունեցել է քրեական անցյալ՝ բռնություն, շորթում, փաստաթղթերի կեղծում և նույնիսկ ապստամբության դրդում հոդվածներով։

«Հռոմեական կայսրությունում կեղծիքներն ու հարկային խարդախությունները պատժվում էին խիստ՝ ծանր աշխատանքից մինչև մահապատիժ», - բացատրեց բժիշկ Աննա Դոլգանովը:

Փաստաթղթում հիշատակվում է նաև Հրեաստանի նահանգապետ Թինեուս Ռուֆուսը, ով կարևոր դեր է խաղացել Բար Կոխբայի ապստամբությունը ճնշելու գործում։

Պապիրուսը հավանաբար թաքցվել է Հուդայի անապատի քարանձավներում ապստամբության ժամանակ, բայց թե ինչու է այն գոյատևել, մնում է առեղծված: Դատավարության ելքը նույնպես հայտնի չէ. գուցե գործընթացը ընդհատվել է ռազմական իրադարձություններով։
