Դեռ սովետական տարիներին Երևանը հայտնի էր իր «Զանգու» անունը կրող գետառով, որը հիմա, կարծես թե, ապականվել է այն քաղաքացիների շնորհիվ, ովքեր գուցե նման կերպ են վերաբերվում նաև իրենց տանը: 
 
SHAMSHYAN.com-ը բազմաթիվ ահազանգեր է ստանում քաղաքացիների կողմից, ովքեր արդարացիորեն բարձրաձայնում են իրենց բողոքը, ասելով, որ Էրեբունի վարչական շրջանի Բուռնազյան փողոցով անցնող գետառը վերածվել է մինի աղբավայրի: 
 
Այսօր՝ հունվարի 23-ին, ֆոտոլրագրողի հետ զրույցում մի քանի քաղաքացիներ, ովքեր հրաժարվեցին տեսախցիկի առաջ խոսել, ասում էին. 
 
«Մի քանի տարի առաջ նույն պատկերն էր, տիրում էր գարշահոտություն, գետառը ամբողջությամբ լցված էր կենցաղային ու շինարարական աղբով: Այն ժամանակ Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի աշխատակիցները Կամո Արեյանի գլխավորությամբ եկան ու էդ ամենը մաքրեցին:  Առանց չափազանցության՝ մի քանի տոննա աղբ հեռացվեց, մտածում էինք, որ մաքրելուց հետո բնակչներն այլևս չեն «մխտռի», բայց ստացվեց ինչպես միշտ նորից նույն պատկերը: 

Ճիշտն ասած՝ Երևանի քաղաքապետարան ու էրեբունու թաղապետարան էլ ենք դիմել, տեղեկացրել ենք խնդրի մասին, բայց ոչ մի արձագանք, երևի սպասում են, որ գետառը վերածվի աղբի բուրգի, նոր հետո տեսնեն՝ ինչ են անելու: Կուզենք՝ գետառն ամբողջությամբ մաքրվի, բայց դրանից հետո ողջ երկայնքով տեսախցիկներ տեղադրվեն ու այդ ժամանակ, վստահ ենք, ոչ ոք չի համարձակվի այն աղտոտել: 
 
Իսկ եթե կլինեն մարդիկ, ովքեր աղբ կնետեն, դրանց կադրերը պետք է հրապարակվի, որպեսզի մարդիկ իմանան, որ եթե գետառում աղբ են թափում, նույն կերպ նրանք կվարվեն իրենց տանը»:
