Վրաստանի Սամգրելո-Զեմո Սվանեթի շրջանի ոստիկանության հայտնել է օտարերկրյա քաղաքացու սպանության մասին։ Ավելի վաղ հաղորդվել էր, որ այս տարածքում առևանգել են ռուսաստանցի զբոսաշրջիկին, որն ընկերուհու հետ Վրաստան էր գնացել ամանորյա տոներին։ Այս մասին գրում է rbc.ru-ն:

Վրաստանի ՆԳՆ-ն հայտնել է, որ հունվարի 5-ին տեղի երկու բնակիչներ հարձակվել են Զուգդիդիից Մեստիա մեկնող երկու օտարերկրացու վրա և գողացել նրանց բջջային հեռախոսները։ Տղամարդուն կրակել են, իսկ դին նետել գետը։ Ավելի ուշ դին հայտնաբերվել է Նակրա գետում:

Քննչական գործողությունների արդյունքում վրացական ոստիկանությանը հաջողվել է բերման ենթարկել 1986 և 1992 թվականներին ծնված երկու տղամարդու։ Նրանց սպառնում է ցմահ ազատազրկում։
