Թրամփը սպառնացել է ԱՄՆ-ին վերադարձնել Պանամայի ջրանցքի վերահսկողությունը

ԱՄՆ նորընտիր նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը շաբաթ օրը քննադատել է Պանամայի ջրանցքով անցնող ամերիկյան նավերից գանձվող «անարդար» վճարումները և սպառնացել Վաշինգտոնին վերադարձնել այդ ջրային ուղու հսկողությունը։

Նա նաև ակնարկել է ջրանցքի տարածքում չինական ազդեցության աճը, ինչը մտահոգիչ միտում է ամերիկյան շահերի համար, քանի որ ամերիկյան բիզնեսը կախված է ջրանցքից՝ Ատլանտյան և Խաղաղ օվկիանոսների միջև ապրանքները դրանով տեղափոխվելու առումով:

«Մեր ռազմածովային նավատորմին և առևտրին շատ անարդար և անխոհեմ են վերաբերվել: Պանամայի կողմից գանձվող վճարները ծիծաղելի են։ Մեր երկրի այս կատարյալ թալանը պետք է անմիջապես դադարեցվի»,- գրել է նա Truth Social-ի իր էջում։

«Սա բացառապես Պանամայի համար էր, ոչ Չինաստանի կամ որևէ մեկի համար: Մենք երբեք թույլ չենք տա, որ այն հայտնվի սխալ ձեռքերում»,- նշել է Թրամփը։

Նա հավելել է, որ եթե Պանաման չկարողանա ապահովել ջրանցքի «անվտանգ, արդյունավետ և հուսալի շահագործումը», «ապա մենք կպահանջենք, որ Պանամայի ջրանցքը մեզ վերադարձվի ամբողջությամբ և առանց հարցերի»։

Պանամայի ջրանցքը, որի շինարարությունն ԱՄՆ-ն ավարտել է 1914 թվականին, հանձնվել է Պանամային 1977 թվականի համաձայնագրով, որը ստորագրել է դեմոկրատ նախագահ Ջիմի Քարթերը, գրում է AFP-ն։ Պանաման ամբողջական վերահսկողություն է սահմանել ջրանցքի վրա 1999 թվականին։
