Ադրբեջանը յուրացնnւմ է Նոյի դամբարանը. «Գեղարդ» հիմնադրամ

Աստվածաշնչում հիշատակված համաշխարհային ջրհեղեղի հետ է կապվում Նախիջևան անունը, իսկ Նախիջևան քաղաքը համարվում է Նոյ նահապետի կողմից հիմնադրված հնագույն բնակավայրերից մեկը Հայաստանում։ Ըստ ավանդության՝ Նոյը, Աստծու կամքով փրկվելով ջրհեղեղից, Արարատ լեռան գագաթից իջել է մերձակա հարթավայրը և իջևանել մի վայրում, որը հետագայում կոչվել է Նախիջևան («նախնական իջևան»)։ Բազմաթիվ պատմություններ կան այն մասին, որ Նոյ նահապետը թաղվել է հենց Նախիջևանում: 13-րդ դարի հայ պատմիչ Վարդան Արևելցին գրում է․ «Ի Նախչուան է տապանն մեծ նահապետին Նոյի և Նեմզարայ ի Մարանդ»:  

Համարվում է, որ Նոյի դամբարանը գտնվել է Նախիջևան քաղաքի հարավային կողմում՝ հայկական հին գերեզմանատանը։ Դամբարան-մատուռը երկհարկանի է եղել։ Նախիջևանի քաղաքային ուսումնարանի տեսուչ, մանկավարժ Կ. Ա. Նիկիտինը նշել է, որ Նոյի գերեզմանը գտնվել է քաղաքի հարավային կողմում՝ հին բերդի մնացորդների մոտ։ Իր ներկայիս տեսքով այն վերականգնվել է պարսիկների կողմից։ Այստեղ նախկինում եղել է եկեղեցի, որը հետագայում ավերվել է, սակայն մատուռը նախկին եկեղեցու մնացորդն է։ Մատուռի ներքին տեսքը նման է քարայրի՝ մեջտեղում կամարներով հենված քարե սյունով: Ըստ հայկական լեգենդի՝ այստեղ են գտնվում Նոյ նահապետի մասունքները: Ռուս հայտնի գրող և ճանապարհորդ Եվգենի Մարկովը նշում է, որ Նախիջևանում է գտնվում այն վայրը, որտեղ, ըստ հայերի հավատալիքների, տապանից դուրս գալուց հետո հաստատվել, ապա մահացել է Նոյ նահապետը, իսկ «Նախիջևան» բառը հին հայերենում բառացիորեն նշանակել է «առաջին բնակավայր»: Նոյի գերեզմանի մասին է հիշատակում նաև պատմաբան և ազգագրագետ Իվան Շոպենը:

1852 թվականին հրատարակված «Կովկասյան օրացույցում» նշվում է, որ հայկական շատ հուշարձաններ մուսուլմանների կողմից ենթարկվել են ավերածությունների։ Կանգուն է մնացել Նոյի դամբարանը, որը համարվում է հայկական քրիստոնեական կառույց։

1930-ական թվականներին Նախիջևանի ադրբեջանական իշխանություններն ավերել են մատուռը։ Սակայն 2006 թվականին ադրբեջանցիները «վերհիշել» են այդ հուշարձանի մասին՝ վերականգնելով այն մուսուլմանական հուշարձաններին հատուկ ոճով:

Հարկ է նշել, որ Նոյի դամբարանը Նախիջևանում եղած հայկական մյուս կոթողների նման հիմնահատակ չի ավերվել միայն այն պատճառով, որ մուսուլմանները Նոյ նահապետին ևս համարել են մեծ մարգարե: Հավելենք, որ ներկայումս ադրբեջանական քարոզչամեքենան փորձում է ապացուցել, որ դամբարանը մուսուլմանական մշակութային կոթող է՝ ժխտելով ակնհայտ փաստերն ու վկայություններն այն մասին, որ այն եղել է հայկական սրբատեղի, ուխտատեղի ու դարեր շարունակ կանգուն է մնացել հենց հայերի շնորհիվ:
