Թրամփի նախընտրական հանրահավաքի վայրում ձերբակալված տղամարդը Fox News-ին պատմել է, որ հայ է

ԱՄՆ նախագահի թեկնածու Դոնալդ Թրամփի՝ Կալիֆոռնիայում կայացած նախընտրական հանրահավաքի ժամանակ ձերբակալված զինված տղամարդը, որը կասկածվում է հանրապետականի դեմ երրորդ հավանական մահափորձը ծրագրելու համար, խոսել է Fox News Digital-ի հետ՝ պնդելով, որ այդ մեղադրանքը կեղծ է:

49-ամյա Վեմ Միլլերը պատմել է, որ հայ է, ունի անձը հաստատող տարբեր փաստաթղթեր, որոնցից մեկում գրված է իր ամբողջական հայկական անունը: Սակայն, տղամարդու պնդմամբ, մահվան սպառնալիքներ ստանալու պատճառով ստիպված է եղել որոշ վայրերում օգտագործել անձը հաստատող այլ փաստաթուղթ, որում նշված է ոչ թե հայկական, այլ ուրիշ անուն: Նրա պնդմամբ՝ բոլոր փաստաթղթերն օրինական են:

Տղամարդու խոսքով՝ ինքը միշտ ճամփորդում է զենքերով, սակայն երբեք դրանք չի օգտագործում:

«Ես միշտ ճանապարհորդում եմ՝ իմ հրազենը բեռնատարի հետևի մասում պահած», - ասել է Միլլերը Fox News Digital-ին տված հարցազրույցում՝ ընդգծելով, որ զենքերը սկսել է կրել մահվան սպառնալիքներ ստանալուց հետո:

Նա Թրամփի հանրահավաքի անցկացման վայրում ձերբակալվել է զենք պահելու մեղադրանքով: Միլլերի ձերբակալությունը ենթադրությունների տեղիք է տվել առ այն, որ նա, գուցե, ծրագրել էր հուլիսից ի վեր երրորդ մահափորձն իրականացնել Թրամփի դեմ: Սակայն տղամարդն արագ ազատ է արձակվել 5,000 դոլար գրավի դիմաց, և մինչ այժմ նրա դեմ դաշնային մեղադրանք չի առաջադրվել։

Երբ նրան հարցրել են մեքենայում ունեցած անձը հաստատող փաստաթղթերի մասին, Միլլերը պնդել է, որ դրանցից ոչ մեկը կեղծ չէ:

Նա նաև ընդգծել է, որ թեև նախկինում եղել է դեմոկրատների աջակից, սակայն այժմ նրա հայացքները փոխվել են:

«Այո, ես 100%-ով Թրամփի կողմնակիցն եմ: Ես խորապես հիանում եմ նրանով», - ասել է Միլլերը:

Հիշեցնենք, որ Լաս Վեգասի բնակիչ Վեմ Միլլերին ոստիկանները բռնել էին անցակետում՝ հանրահավաքի մուտքից մոտ 800 մետր հեռավորության վրա: Ոստիկանությունը հայտնել է, որ Միլլերը կրում էր լիցքավորված որսորդական հրացան, ատրճանակ, մեծ քանակությամբ փամփուշտներով պահունակ:

Ռիվերսայդի շրջանի շերիֆ Չադ Բյանկոն կիրակի կայացած մամուլի ասուլիսի ժամանակ ասել էր, որ հավատում է, որ Միլլերը ծրագրում էր սպանել Թրամփին, բայց միևնույն ժամանակ ընդունել էր, որ դա կարող է նաև «շահարկում» լինել:

«Այն, ինչ մենք գիտենք, այն է, որ նա ներկայացել է տարբեր անուններով բազմաթիվ անձնագրերով, կեղծ պետհամարանիշով չգրանցված մեքենայով և լիցքավորված հրազենով», - ասել էր շերիֆը  մամուլի ասուլիսում:
