ՀՀ ոստիկանությունից հայտարարություն են տարածել, որում ասվում է. «Զենքի շրջանառության կարգավորման մասին» ՀՀ օրենքի 31-րդ հոդվածի 4-րդ մասի համաձայն՝ Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում շրջանառվող քաղաքացիական և ծառայողական բոլոր զենքերը ենթակա են հաշվառման ՀՀ ոստիկանությունում՝ քաղաքացիական և ծառայողական զենքերի հաշվառման միասնական էլեկտրոնային շտեմարանում և թղթային տարբերակով, որոնց կարգը սահմանում է Կառավարությունը:

Նույն հոդվածի 8-րդ մասի համաձայն՝ չհաշվառված քաղաքացիական զենքերը քաղաքացու կողմից իրավապահ մարմիններին կամովին ներկայացվելու դեպքում, համապատասխան քրեադատավարական ընթացակարգով անցնելուց և վարույթ իրականացնող մարմնի կողմից քրեական վարույթը կարճելու վերաբերյալ որոշումից և օրենքով սահմանված կարգով զենք ձեռք բերելու թույլտվություն ստանալուց հետո, ոստիկանությունը զենքը հաշվառում և տրամադրում է քաղաքացուն՝ համապատասխան թույլտվությամբ:

Ելնելով վերոհիշյալ իրավակարգավորումներից՝ բոլոր անձանց, այդ թվում՝ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղից բռնի տեղահանված և Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում վերաբնակեցված մեր հայրենակիցներին, ովքեր իրենց մոտ ունեն (իրենց հետ բերել են Հայաստանի Հանրապետություն) ՀՀ-ում չհաշվառված որսորդական ողորկափող կամ ակոսափող հրազեն, գազային ատրճանակ, ինչպես նաև պարգևատրական զենք, հորդորվում է ի պահ հանձնել ՆԳՆ ոստիկանությանը՝ վերը նշված ընթացակարգերով անցնելուց հետո զենքի հետագա հաշվառման և տնօրինման հարցը որոշելու համար:
