Այսօր Ս. Ստեփանոս Ուլնեցու և Գոհարինե, Ծամիդես, Տյուքիկոս ու Ռատիկոս վկաների հիշատակի օրն է

Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցին այսօր նշում է Ս. Ստեփանոս Ուլնեցու և Գոհարինե, Ծամիդես, Տյուքիկոս ու Ռատիկոս վկաների հիշատակի օրը։ Այս մասին տեղեկանում ենք qahana.am-ից։

Ս. Ստեփանոս Ուլնեցին ծնվել է Տյուրոս լեռների մոտ գտնվող Կոկիսոն քաղաքում: Լինելով ուխտի զավակ, իրեն մկրտած քահանայի հոգածությամբ և դաստիարակվել է աստվածային պատվիրաններով և քաջատեղյակ էր Ս. Գրքին: Նրա դաստիարակ քահանայի համար ասված է, թե. «Ամեն կիրակի մյուս քրիստոնյաների հետ նաև պատանի Ստեփանոսին էր հաղորդում Տիրոջ մարմնի ու արյան կենարար խորհուրդը»: Հուլիանոս Ուրացող կայսեր հալածանքների ժամանակ չարաչար տանջանքների ենթարկվելով` նահատակվել է իր ընտանիքի և այլ քրիստոնյաների հետ: Նրա գերեզմանի վրա կառուցվել է եկեղեցի: Ս. Ստեփանոս Ուլնեցու վկայաբանությունը քրիստոնեական դաստիարակության լավագույն օրինակ է: Այն ուսանելի է մասնավորապես այսօր, երբ բարձր բարոյականությամբ կրթված հայ քրիստոնյաներով ձևավորված առողջ և կայուն հասարակության անհրաժեշտություն ունենք ՝ պատրաստ մարտնչելու ազգային և քրիստոնեական սկզբունքների համար և հաստատագրելու դրանք:

Գոհարինեն, Ծամիդեսը, Տյուքիկոսը և Ռատիկոսը, որոնք հայտնի են «Գոհարյանք» ընդհանուր անվամբ, չորս եղբայրներ էին, հայ իշխանավոր Դավթի որդիները: Նա իր անդրանիկ որդու՝ Արեգի հետ գերի էր ընկել և կարողացել էր ազատվել միայն իսլամ ընդունելուց հետո: Սակայն Դավթի կինը քրիստոնեաբար էր մեծացնում իր մյուս զավակներին, ովքեր չափահաս դառնալով՝ մտնում են Սեբաստիայի իսլամական բանակը և հավատարմորեն մնում քրիստոնյա: Իմանալով, որ իսլամ դավանող հոր զավակներ են և իսլամությունից քրիստոնեության դարձածներ, նրանք մատնվում են քաղաքի իշխանի ձեռքը, բայց ավագ եղբոր միջոցով մի կերպ ազատվում են: Որոշ ժամանակ անց կրկին մատնվում են և համարձակորեն հռչակում իրենց քրիստոնյա լինելը: Անօգուտ սպառնալիքներից ու խոշտանգումներից հետո, ի վերջո, գլխատվում են 1156 թվականին` ցույց տալով իրենց պատրաստակամությունը՝ նահատակվելհանուն ճշմարտության: Միաժամանակ իրենց կյանքով իրագործում են մեր Տիրոջ այն խոսքը, թե` «Եթե մեկը կամենում է հետևել ինձ, թող ուրանա իր անձը, վերցնի իր խաչը և գա իմ ետևից» (Մատթ. 16:24):
