Ամերիկացի և չինացի գիտնականներն առաջարկում են արևի էներգիայի համար օգտագործել մայրուղիները

Եթե ​​աշխարհի բոլոր մայրուղիների երկայնքով տեղադրվեին 52,3 միլիարդ արևային վահանակներ, ապա հնարավոր կլիներ ծածկել տարեկան էլեկտրաէներգիայի համաշխարհային սպառման 60 %-ը։ Այս եզրակացությանն են հանգել Չինաստանի Գիտությունների ակադեմիայի, Ցինհուա համալսարանի, Չինական Երկրագիտության ակադեմիայի և Կոլումբիայի համալսարանի գիտնականները:

Աշխարհի մայրուղիները ֆոտոգալվանային տարրերով ծածկելը կարող է տարեկան 17 հազար 578 ՏՎ/ժամ էներգիա արտադրել, ինչը 2023 թվականին գրանցված էլեկտրաէներգիայի համաշխարհային սպառման ավելի քան 60 տոկոսն է։
Հաշվի առնելով այն փաստը, որ ամբողջ աշխարհում կան ավելի քան 3,2 միլիոն կմ ավտոճանապարհներ, գիտնականները հաշվարկել են 250 Վտ հզորությամբ արևային մարտկոցների ցանցի կառուցման ծախսերն ու օգուտները։ Արդյունքների համաձայն՝ մայրուղիներն արևային մարտկոցներով ծածկելը կարող է արտադրել ավելի քան 4 անգամ ավելի շատ, քան ԱՄՆ-ի տարեկան էներգիան և փոխհատուցել ածխաթթու գազի ներկայիս արտանետումների 28,78 %-ը:

Մեկ այլ առավելություն է համաշխարհային ճանապարհատրանսպորտային պատահարների մահվան դեպքերի կրճատումը 10,8 %-ով։

Հետազոտողները նաև պարզել են, որ արևելյան Չինաստանը, Արևմտյան Եվրոպան և Միացյալ Նահանգների արևելյան ափն առավել հարմար են արևային վահանակների տեղակայման համար՝ չնայած տեղադրման և պահպանման ծախսերի հետ կապված մարտահրավերներին:
