Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի պատգամավոր Նատալի Լուազոն իր գոհունակությունն է հայտնել Հայաստանին Խաղաղության եվրոպական հիմնադրամից 10 միլիոն եվրո տրամադրելու մասին Եվրոպական միության խորհրդի որոշման կապակցությամբ։ Այս մասին Նատալի Լուազոն գրառում է կատարել X-ի իր միկրոբլոգում։

«Եվրոպական միությունն առաջին անգամ Հայաստանին աջակցություն է տրամադրում Եվրոպական խաղաղության հիմնադրամից։ Ուրախ եմ այս որոշման առնչությամբ, որի մասին ամիսներ շարունակ խնդրել եմ», - իր գրառման մեջ նշել է Լուազոն։

Նախօրեին հաղորդվել էր, որ ԵՄ-ն առաջին անգամ Խաղաղության եվրոպական հիմնադրամից Հայաստանին կտրամադրի 10 մլն եվրո։ Հայաստանի Հանրապետությանն աջակցելու համար տրամադրվելիք օգնության նպատակն է բարձրացնել Հայաստանի զինված ուժերի նյութատեխնիկական կարողությունները և նպաստել ճգնաժամային և արտակարգ իրավիճակներում խաղաղ բնակչության պաշտպանության բարելավմանը:

Որոշումը կայացվել է Հայաստանի հետ ԵՄ գործընկերության շրջանակում և հիմնված է ընդհանուր արժեքների վրա, ուղղված է Հայաստանում և Հարավային Կովկասում խաղաղության, կայունության և բարգավաճման խթանմանը։ Այն նաև նպատակ ունի բարձրացնել Հայաստանի դիմադրողականությունը, արագացնել զինված ուժերի փոխգործունակությունը հետագայում երկրի կողմից միջազգային, այդ թվում՝ ԵՄ-ի կողմից կազմակերպված ռազմական առաքելություններին ու գործողություններին հնարավոր մասնակցության դեպքում։ Ըստ որոշման՝ աջակցությունը թույլ կտա գումարտակի չափով ստորաբաժանման համար ապահովել լիարժեք վրանային ճամբար:

«ԵՄ-ն հավատարիմ է Հայաստանի հետ համապարփակ քաղաքական և տնտեսական գործընկերությունը ընդլայնելուն՝ հիմնված ԵՄ-Հայաստան Համապարփակ և ընդլայնված գործընկերության համաձայնագրի վրա և էլ ավելի ամրապնդելու հարաբերությունները բոլոր հարթություններում: Սա ներառում է արտաքին և անվտանգության քաղաքականության ոլորտում երկխոսության և համագործակցության ակտիվացում, որը ներառում է նաև անվտանգության և պաշտպանության ընդհանուր քաղաքականությունը»,-նշված է ԵՄ խորհրդի տարածած մամուլի հաղորդագրությունում։
