Բորելը իրավիճակը Հորդանան գետի Արևմտյան ափին անվանել է «պայթյունավտանգ»

Եվրոպական դիվանագիտության ղեկավար Ժոզեպ Բորելը մյուխենյան համաժողովում խոսել է նաև Մերձավոր Արևելքում պատերազմի մասին՝ դժգոհելով կառույցում միասնության բացակայությունից և այն փաստից, որ ԵՄ անդամ շատ երկրներ «ցանկանում են սեփական դերակատարությունն ունենալ» տարածաշրջանում, մինչդեռ, նրա խոսքով՝ Պաղեստինի ժողովրդի համար պետք է լինի «հստակ հեռանկար»:

Բորելը հանդես է եկել «համապարփակ» քաղաքական լուծման օգտին, որը ներառում է ոչ միայն Գազայի հատվածը, այլև Արևմտյան ափը:

«Մենք պետք է դադարեցնենք պատերազմը Գազայում: Բայց Հորդանան գետի Արևմտյան ափն է իրական խոչընդոտը երկու պետությունների մասին որոշման համար», - ասել է նա:

Իսրայելի նախագահ Իցհակ Հերցոգը Մյունխենի անվտանգության համաժողովում նշել է, որ Իսրայելը կարող է համաձայնել Գազայի հատվածում հակամարտությունը Պաղեստին պետություն ստեղծելու միջոցով լուծելու տարբերակին միայն այն դեպքում, եթե ստանա իր երկրի ու ժողովրդի համար անվտանգության երաշխիքներ:

Իսրայելի վարչապետն էլ հայտարարել է, որ Ռաֆահում ցամաքային գործողություն կսկսի, եթե պատանդները մինչև Ռամադան տուն չվերադառնան։

ՀԱՄԱՍ-ի քաղբյուրոյի ղեկավար Իսմայիլ Հանիեն ի պատասխան հայտարարել է, որ պաղեստինյան կողմը չի համաձայնի պատանդների և գերիների փոխանակմանը Իսրայելի հետ, քանի դեռ այդ երկիրը զորքերը դուրս չի բերել Գազայից։
