Նիկոլը ունի նոր ծրագիր, ըստ որի առաջիկայում պլանավորված պատերազմի միջոցով, հայությանը նոր կորուստների ու ողբերգության առջև է կանգնեցնելու․ Արտակ Զաքարյան

Արտակ Զաքարյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է․

«...Այս ամենը ինչի՞ համար եմ ես ասում և անում, դրա համար, որ դավաճա՞ն եմ, նրա համար, որ օտարերկյա գործակալ եմ, ով երազումա, որ էլ ինչ հող տա որևէ մեկին...»։
 
Այս խոստովանության հեղինակը Նիկոլն է: Բայց սրանք զղջումի խոսքեր չեն: Ոչ էլ իր վարած քաղաքականության հանդեպ հայության «անշնորհակալ» վերաբերմունքի դեմ բողոքի խոսքեր են: Այդ խոսքերում նույնիսկ սեփական քաղաքականության կործանարար հետևանքների համար զղջման նշույլ չկա:
 
Նիկոլի այս մտքերը հետևյալի մասին էին. ունի նոր ծրագիր (կամ ստացել է), ըստ որի առաջիկայում պլանավորված պատերազմի միջոցով, հայությանը նոր կորուստների ու ողբերգության առջև է կանգնեցնելու: Աշխարհագրությունը` Սյունիք, սուբյեկտը` միջանցք, գլխավոր նպատակը` ռուս-իրանական շահերի դեմ ռեգիոնալ իրավիճակի փոփոխություն: Վճարման եղանակը` Հայաստանի շահեր և պետականության գոյության նպատակահարմարություն:
 
Հետո վերջին պահին, իբրև թե ինչ-որ բան (առայժմ պարզ չէ, թե ինչ) «փրկելու» համար, գաղտնի կստորագրի հաջորդ կապիտուլյացիոն փաթեթը և...
 
Որքան էլ մեր ժողովրդի մի ստվար հատված նրան անվանի, դավաճան, գործակալ, հողատու, և այլն, միևնույն է նա այլ տարբերակ, քան կատարել թելադրվող պահաջները` չունի: Այնպես ինչպես «միջազգային հանրությունն» իրենից պահանջում էր իջեցնել Արցախի հարցում նշաձողը: Սակայն արդյունքում Նիկոլը հանձնեց ամբողջ նշաձողը` Արցախի հետ միասին:
 
Մի փոքր գիտակից և պետություն սիրող մարդը, իր հանցավոր քաղաքականությունն արդարացնելու փոխարեն` հանուն Հայաստանի և Արցախի վաղուց հրաժարական տված կլիներ: Նա հրաժարական չի տվել և չի տալիս, որովհետև առջևում դեռ ծանր հարվածներ կան Հայաստանին հասցնելու` շարունակելով սկսած գործը:
