Հողի համար կյանք տալիս են, բայց կյանքի համար հող չեն տալիս։ Իսկական զինվորական այս արտահայտությունը կարծես Հայաստանի հասարակությունը, գործող իշխանություններն ու քաղաքական դաշտը լիովին մոռացել են, պատրաստ են հանուն այս րոպեական խաղաղության, առանց երաշխիքների անվտանգության և ամեն րոպե խախտվելու ենթակա թղթի մի կտորի դիմաց հանձնել սեփական տարածքից ահռելի կտորներ, միայն թե կանխեն թշնամու այսօրվա հարձակումը։

Տարրական բան, նույնիսկ ժողովրդական բանահյուսությունն է բացատրում, որ չի կարելի խաղալ թշնամու կանոններով, ի վերջո դա հանգեցնում է նրան, որ թշնամին ավելի է լկտիանում, ավելի է սրում իր ախորժակը, նորանոր պահանջ առաջ քաշում, հատկապես, երբ դու գտնվում ես այնպիսի թույլ իրավիճակում, որ թշնամին ցանկանում է մինչև վերջ ոչնչացնել առնվազն քո զարգացման ռեսուրսները։

Ի վերջո, նույն հայ ժողովրդի պատմությունը բազմիցս ապացուցել է, որ բոլոր այն դեպքերում, երբ Հայաստանի իշխանությունները կատարել են թշնամիների կամքը, նոր և ավելի ծանր հարվածների են բերել սեփական երկրին, իսկ մեկ անգամ կանգնող, մինչև վերջ իր կռիվը տվող հասարակությունն արժանի է իրական կյանքի և իրական խաղաղության։

«Հողի համար կյանք տալիս են, բայց կյանքի համար հող չեն տալիս»,- «Համահայկական ճակատ» շարժման առաջնորդ, պաշտպանության նախկին նախարար Արշակ Կարապետյանն է այս մասին ասել իր վերջին հարցազրույցում:

«Մեր սպաները միշտ կանգնած են եղել վտանգի առաջ, միշտ պարզ աչքերով են նայել սպասվող հնարավոր վտանգին և այսօր էլ պետք է իրենց այդպես պահեն, պետք է ամեն ինչ անեն պաշտպանելու մեր երկիրը և հիշեն այս պարզ ճշմարտությունը, փոխարենը, Հայաստանի գործող իշխանություններն ամեն ինչ անում են Հայկական զինված ուժերը թուլացնելու, Հայաստանի վերականգնման, անվտանգության, պաշտպանունակության հնարավորությունները մսխելու, առնվազն անվերադարձ», - նշում է իր խոսքում «Համահայկական ճակատ» շարժման առաջնորդ Արշակ Կարապետյանը։

Իհարկե, օբյեկտիվորեն թշնամին պետք է օգտվի այս հնարավորությունից, ուրիշ էլ ե՞րբ կկարողանա նման հնարավորություն ստանալ, երբ ոչ միայն դիմացդ կանգնած երկիրը թուլացել է, այլ նաև այդ երկիրը ղեկավարում են մարդիկ, որոնք վախկոտ են։ Եվ բնավ զարմանալի չէ Ադրբեջանի ու Թուրքիայի այս վարքը, ընդհուպ Սահմանադրության մեջ փոփոխությունների պարտադրանքը։ Չէ՞ որ նոր, ազգային իշխանություն ունենալու դեպքում Հայաստանի ղեկավարությունը նման կերպ իրեն երբևէ չէր կարող պահել, իսկ այժմ իսկական թշնամու սրտի իշխանությունն է իշխում Հայաստանում, որը սեփական վերարտադրությունն ապահովելու նպատակով պատրաստ է ամեն ինչի։ Սա պետք է առաջին հերթին հասկանա հայ հանրությունը, որ այլևս հետդարձի ճանապարհ չկա, հետդարձը նոր ցեղասպանության կհանգեցնի:
