ՆԱՏՕ-ն պատրաստվում է պատերազմի Ռուսաստանի հետ

ՆԱՏՕ-ի ռազմական կոմիտեի նախագահ, հոլանդացի ծովակալ Ռոբ Բաուերը ասել է, որ դաշինքի երկրները չպետք է կարծեն, որ կշարունակեն ապրել խաղաղության մեջ, և պետք է պատրաստվեն Ռուսաստանի հետ պատերազմի:

«Մենք պետք է հասկանանք, որ եթե ապրում ենք խաղաղ պայմաններում, դա ինչ որ ինքնին ենթադրվող բան չէ: Եվ դրա համար էլ մենք պատրաստվում ենք Ռուսաստանի հետ հակամարտության։ Բայց բանավեճը շատ ավելի լայն է: Դա արդյունաբերական բազան է, բայց նաև մարդիկ, ովքեր պետք է հասկանան, որ իրենք որոշակի դեր են խաղում», Բաուերին մեջբերում է Telegraph-ի թղթակիցը։

Նա գովաբանել է Շվեդիայի իշխանություններին՝ քաղաքացիներին պատերազմի նախապատրաստվելու նախազգուշացման համար։ «Այստեղից պետք է սկսել: Այն գիտակցումից, որ ամեն ինչ չէ, որ կարելի է պլանավորել և ամեն ինչ չէ, որ կատարյալ կլինի առաջիկա 20 տարում»,- ասել է ծովակալը։

Հաջորդ շաբաթ ՆԱՏՕ-ն սկսում է «Steadfast Defender 2024» լայնածավալ զորավարժությունները, որին կմասնակցեն մոտ 90 հազար զինվորական (այդ թվում՝ 20 հազար բրիտանացի): Զորավարժությունները կտևեն մինչև մայիս։
