Ռուսաստանի մերձավոր շրջապատում ընդգրկված են Իրանը, Թուրքիան, ԱՄԷ-ն և Սաուդյան Արաբիան, հայտարարել է արտգործնախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը։

«Եթե մենք խոսում ենք մեր մերձավոր շրջապատի մասին, ապա, իհարկե, դրանք Մերձավոր Արևելքի երկրներն են՝ Իրանը, Թուրքիան, Սաուդյան Արաբիան, Արաբական Միացյալ Էմիրությունները և Կատարը»,- ասել է նա։

ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարարն առանձին կարևորել է Ռուսաստանի և Չինաստանի հարաբերությունները՝ նշելով, որ դրանք ապրում են իրենց դարավոր պատմության լավագույն շրջանը, ինչպես նաև Հնդկաստանի հետ, որի հետ զարգանում է հատկապես արտոնյալ, ռազմավարական համագործակցությունը։

Բացի այդ, Ռուսաստանը աֆրիկյան երկրների հետ իր գործընկերությունը հասցնում է իսկապես ռազմավարական մակարդակի, ասել է Լավրովը։

«Դա հաստատվեց Ռուսաստան-Աֆրիկա երկրորդ գագաթնաժողովում, որը տեղի ունեցավ հուլիսին Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում»,- նշել է նա։

Նախարարը հավելել է, որ Լատինական Ամերիկայի հետ հարաբերությունների զարգացման կարևոր փուլը Ռուսաստան-Լատինական Ամերիկա միջխորհրդարանական համաժողովն էր, որը տեղի ունեցավ անցյալ տարվա աշնանը։
