Համաշխարհային մարդասիրական հանրությունը համերաշխություն է հայտնում Ռուբեն Վարդանյանին

Ադրբեջանի կառավարության կողմից մարդասեր, գործարար, Հայաստանի քաղաքացի եւ «Ավրորա» մարդասիրական նախաձեռնության համահիմնադիր Ռուբեն Վարդանյանի կալանավորումը զայրացնող է եւ քաղաքականացված։ Որպես համաշխարհային մարդասիրական եւ իրավապաշտպան հանրույթի ներկայացուցիչներ՝ մենք կոչ ենք անում անհապաղ ազատ արձակել նրան։ Այս մասին նշվել է «Ավրորա» մարդասիրական նախաձեռնության հայտարարությունում, որն ստացել է NEWS.am-ը։

«Ավրորա» մարդասիրական նախաձեռնությունը, որին Ռուբենն այնքան ուժ է տվել, արդեն ութ տարի մեծարում եւ աջակցում է նրանց գործունեությունը, ովքեր պայքարում են մարդու հիմնական իրավունքների համար ամբողջ աշխարհում՝ հաճախ վտանգելով սեփական կյանքը։ Զավեշտն այն է, որ այժմ Ռուբենը դարձել է այն նույն հետապնդումների զոհը, ինչպես նրանք, որոնց նա ձգտում էր օգնել որպես մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան։

Երբ Ռուբենը ավելի քան մեկ տարի առաջ տեղափոխվեց Արցախ, մինչեւ 10-ամսյա շրջափակումը, որը փակեց տարածաշրջան բոլոր սննդամթերքների եւ առաջին անհրաժեշտության իրերի մատակարարումը, եւ մինչեւ վերջին ռմբակոծությունները, նա գիտեր, որ գոյություն ունի զգալի վտանգ, բայց լի էր վճռականությամբ՝ օգնել գտնելու հակամարտության խաղաղ լուծում։

Ռուբենի կալանավորումը, մարդ, որը վերջին 20 տարիները նվիրել է տարածաշրջանի սոցիալ-տնտեսական զարգացմանը, անարդարացի է։ Դա զրկում է նրան հիմնական իրավունքներից, ինչպես եւ տարածաշրջանի ահզարավոր հայերին, որոնց հիմնարար իրավունքները խախտվում են ամեն օր։

Ռուբեն Վարդանյանին գերության մեջ են պահում նրա համար, որ աջակցել է Արցախի բնակիչներին եւ նրանց  դեմոկրատական ապրելակերպի իրավունքներին։ Ադրբեջանի կառավարությունը պետք է ազատ արձակի նրան եւ հարգանք ցուցաբերի մարդու՝ նրա եւ տարածաշրջանի բոլոր հայերի իրավունքների հանդեպ։
