«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է. Օգոստոսի 11-ին Արարատի զորամասում ինքնասպան եղած զինվոր Գրանիկ Խնկոյանին սպան բռնել էր թմրանյութ օգտագործելիս, ապտակել էր ու նշանակել ծառայողական քննություն։ «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթին հասած տեղեկությունների համաձայն՝ ծառայողական քննության ժամանակ զինվոր Գրանիկ Խնկոյանը անուններ է տվել, թե ով կամ ովքեր են օգտագործել թմրանյութը։ Ավելին՝ զինվորը ինքնասպանությունից առաջ արտահայտություն էր արել. «Թույլ չեմ տա իմ ծնողը իր գլուխը կախի սրանց մոտ»։ Արդյոք մայորի ապտակը զինվորին դրդեց վերջ տալ կյանքին, թե նրա հետ թմրանյութ օգտագործած ծառայակից ընկերները «հաշիվ պահանջեցին»՝ դժվար է ասել: Հուսանք՝ քննությունը կպարզի:

Երեկ ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեն հայտնեց, որ օգոստոսի 11-ին ինքնասպան եղած զինվոր Գրանիկ Խնկոյանի դեպքով մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել, ու տնային կալանքի տակ է պահվում ՀՀ ՊՆ N զորամասի հրաձգային գումարտակի հրամանատարի տեղակալ-շտաբի պետ, կոչումով մայոր Ա.Թ.-ն՝ առերևույթ հրապարակավ զինծառայողի պատիվն ու արժանապատվությունը նվաստացնելուն ուղղված գործողություններ` համածառայակիցների ներկայությամբ բռնություն գործադրելու համար։

Նկատենք՝ նախաքննական մարմինը չէր հրապարակել, թե ինչու էր մայորը բռնության ենթարկել զինվորին, մինչդեռ ակնհայտ է, որ սպան զինվորների գործողությունների մասով խայտառակ բացահայտում է արել ու ընքացք տվել։ Ինչո՞վ են զբաղված ՀՀ իրավապահ մարմինները, երբ զորամասերում զինվորները թմրանյութ են օգտագործում, ինչո՞վ են զբաղված Զինվորական դատախազությունը, Պաշտպանության նախարարությունը, երբ սպան զինվորին սթափեցնող ապտակ է տալիս, ու մյուսները երեւույթը արմատախիլ անելու համար անգործության են մատնված։

Հիշեցնենք, որ օգոստոսի 10-ին եւ 11-ին Արարատի զորամասում իրենց կյանքին վերջ էին տվել երկու ժամկետային զինծառայող ՝Ժորա Կարապետյանը եւ Գրանիկ Խնկոյանը։ Գրել էինք, որ Ժորա Կարապետյանին ինքնասպանության էին հասցրել ծառայակից ընկերները (թեման եղել է դիրքում քնելը), իսկ, ահա, Գրանիկ Խնկոյանի ինքնասպանությունից առաջ զորամասում միջադեպ էր եղել»։
