Պարտադիր պայմանական առքուվաճառքի պայմանագրով (SPA) Gold Mining Company-ն ձեռք կբերի Chaarat Gold-ի «Չաարատ Կապան» ՓԲԸ-ն՝ հայաստանյան դուստր ձեռնարկությունը:

«Չաարատ Կապան»-ին է պատկանում Հայաստանի հարավում գտնվող Կապանի հանքավայրը։

Գործելով 1960-ական թվականներից՝ հանքավայրը ունի բազմամետաղային հանքաքար և արտադրում է պղնձի և ցինկի խտանյութեր՝ ոսկու և արծաթի ենթամթերքներով:

Chaarat-ը Կապանի հանքավայրը ձեռք է բերել 2019 թվականին: Այս ընթացքում հանքի շահագործման ժամկետը երկարացվել է, շահագործման արդյունավետությունը բարելավվել է։ արտադրական ուղղորդում»: 

Chaarat-ի տարածած հայտարարության մեջ ասվում է.

«Chaarat-ը դիտարկում է առաջարկվող վաճառքը որպես շահավետ ելքի հնարավորություն այն ժամանակ, երբ ակտիվը տեսնում է աճող կանխիկ դրամական ծախսերի (AISC), հնարավոր կորուստների և ֆինանսավորման հետագա պահանջները՝ մի քանի տարվա շահութաբեր գործունեության արդյունքում»։
