Եզակի արևային մարտկոցը շարունակում է աշխատել նույնիսկ մայրամուտից հետո

Hightech.fm–ը գրում է, որ Սթենֆորդի համալսարանի գիտնականները ֆոտոգալվանային բջիջ են նախագծել: Այն էներգիա է հավաքում շրջակա միջավայրից ինչպես ցերեկը, այնպես էլ գիշերը։ Սարքն օգտագործում է ջերմությունը, որը հոսում է Երկրից ետ դեպի օդ, որը նույն կարգի էներգիա է, ինչպես սովորական արևային ճառագայթումը:

Նորարարությունը օգտագործում է ջերմաէլեկտրական մոդուլ ֆոտոցելի և օդի միջև ջերմաստիճանի գրադիենտից լարման և հոսանքի առաջացման համար: Այդ գործընթացը կախված է համակարգի ջերմային դիզայնից: Սարքը լույս է արտադրում գիշերը արեգակնային մարտկոցի և շրջակա միջավայրի ջերմաստիճանի տարբերության պատճառով:

Ինժեներները ցուցադրել են իրենց սարքի էներգիայի արտադրությունը ցերեկը, ինչպես նաև գիշերը, երբ այն աշխատում է հակառակ ուղղությամբ և լրացուցիչ էներգիա է ապահովում սովորական արևային մարտկոցին։

Լուսավորության համար գիշերը էլեկտրաէներգիա օգտագործելը պահանջում է մի քանի վտ հզորություն: Ներկայացված սարքը արտադրում է 50 մՎտ/մ², ինչը նշանակում է, որ լուսավորության համար կպահանջվի մոտ 20 մ² ֆոտոգալվանային տարածք:

Ինչպես նշում են մշակման հեղինակները, տեղադրումն էժան է և, սկզբունքորեն, կարող է ներկառուցվել արդեն գոյություն ունեցող արևային մարտկոցների մեջ։ Սա հատկապես օգտակար կլինի սահմանափակ ռեսուրսներով հեռավոր վայրերում տներ կառուցելիս: Աշխարհում մոտ 750 միլիոն մարդ գիշերային ժամերին էլեկտրականություն չունի։ Արևային մարտկոցները օրվա ընթացքում ապահովում են էլեկտրաէներգիա, սակայն զգալի մարտկոցներ են պահանջվում էներգիան կուտակելու համար հետագայում օգտագործելու համար: Այժմ ինժեներները լուծել են այս խնդիրը։
