Բայց Ջերմուկի հնարավոր կորստով մենք ոչ միայն հերթական հայկական հողն ենք կորցնում։ Եթե Ադրբեջանին հաջողվեց գրավել նաև այս շրջանը, ապա Սյունիքը Հայաստանի մնացած հատվածից կտրելու համար կպահանջվեն շատ քիչ ջանքեր, քանի որ Ջերմուկը և հարակից գոտին գտնվում են Սյունիքի ու Վայոց Ձորի ամենանեղ հատվածում, որի երկու կողմերում թուրք-ադրբեջանական զորքն է (տե՛ս քարտեզը)։ Հաշվի առնելով, որ ինտենսիվ մարտեր են նաև հարևանությամբ գտնվող Իշխանասարի մերձակայքում, պատկերն ամբողջական է դառնում. թշնամին ցանկանում է կտրել Սյունիքն ու լիարժեք նվաճել այն։
Իսկ նույն ժամանակ ՀՀ դե-ֆակտո իշխանությունը չի դիմել ՀԱՊԿ անհրաժեշտ հոդվածով, չի դիմել Իրանին, չի հայտարարել պատերազմ։
Նոր ու ազգային կառավարություն է պետք, որը կարողանա իրավիճակին համահունչ լուծումներ տալ։ Հապաղելը կարող է արժենալ մեր վերջնական կործանում։»
