1. Ձեռքի առաջին ժամացույցները ստեղծվել են XIX դարի սկզբներին: XIX դարի վերջին` պատերազմի ժամանակ, գրպանի ժամացույցի օգտագործման անհարմարության պատճառով զինվորականները սկսեցին կրել ժամացույց դաստակի վրա: Իսկ ձեռքի ժամացույցները վերջնական ճանաչում ստացան միայն XX դարի վերջին: Հիմա այն օգտագործվում է որպես աքսեսուար՝ բջջային հեռախոսների տարածման պատճառով:

2.Մեկ ձեռքի ժամացույց պատրաստելու համար անհրաժեշտ է ավելի քան 20 մարդ:

3.Եթե ատամներով վերցնեք ժամացույցն ու փակեք Ձեր ականջները, ապա ժամացույցի տկտկոցը կվերածվի շատ ուժեղ, ծանր հարվածների` այդքան նրա ձայնը կուժեղանա:
