Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը AzTV-ին տված հարցազրույցում ասել է, որ այսօր Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի հարաբերությունների կարգավորման գործընթացում Ղարաբաղյան հարց չկա:

«Նման փորձեր եղել են, բայց ես երբեք չեմ համաձայնվել դրան։ Ի՞նչ կապ ունի Հայաստանը դրա հետ։ Սա «մեր ներքին գործն է» (չակերտները՝ Tert.am)։ Այսօր բանակցությունների սեղանին որևէ կարգավիճակի մասին խոսք չկա»,- ասել է Ադրբեջանի նախագահը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ Ղարաբաղում ապրող հայերը պետք է «ճիշտ քայլ» (չակերտները՝ Tert.am) անեն ու հասկանան, որ «իրենց ապագան կախված է միայն ադրբեջանական հասարակությանը ինտեգրվելուց» (չակերտները՝ Tert.am)։

«Ղարաբաղում ապրող հայերը չեն ունենա ո՛չ կարգավիճակ, ո՛չ անկախություն, ո՛չ հատուկ արտոնություններ. նրանք «նույնն են» (չակերտները՝ Tert.am), ինչ Ադրբեջանի մնացած բոլոր քաղաքացիները։ Ինչպես պաշտպանված են Ադրբեջանի քաղաքացիների իրավունքները, այնպես էլ «պաշտպանված են լինելու» (չակերտները՝ Tert.am) նրանց իրավունքները։ Ինչպես պաշտպանված են Ադրբեջանում ապրող ժողովուրդների իրավունքները, այնպես էլ նրանք պետք է «պաշտպանված լինեն» (չակերտները՝ Tert.am): Սա միակ ճանապարհն է», - ասել է Ալիևը։

Անդրադառնալով Հայաստանի հետ հարաբերություններին՝ նա հավելել է.«Մենք պետք է խաղաղ բանակցություններ սկսենք Հայաստանի հետ: Դեռ դրական պատասխան չենք ստացել, բայց հուսով եմ, որ կլինի։ Պետք է ստեղծվի սահմանազատման հանձնաժողով: Նրանք էլ առարկում էին, բայց ի վերջո համաձայնեցին։ «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքը» (չակերտները՝ Tert.am) պետք է, բայց սկզբում դեմ էին։ Այժմ՝ առաջիկա շաբաթներին, նրանցից սպասում ենք «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքը» (չակերտները՝ Tert.am) երթուղուն»։
