Հայտնաբերվել է «աղջիկ-մաուգլի», որին դաստիարակել է կապիկների խումբը:

Սա գիտությանը հայտնի առաջին դեպքը չէ, դժբախտաբար նման պայմաններում գոյատևած երեխաներն էականորեն տարբերվում են իրենց հասակակիցներից:

Դեպքն արձանագրվել է Հնդկաստանում: Տեղի ոստիկանությունը հայտնաբերել էր 10-ամյա մի աղջնակի, ով ապրել էր կապիկների հետ չէր կարողանում քայլել և խոսել ինչպես մարդը:

Նա խոսելու փոխարեն գոռում է և ինչպես վայրի կենդանին արգելում է մոտենալ իրեն:
Ականատեսները պատմում էին, որ աղջնակը վազում էր ձեռքերի և ոտքերի վրա հենված, անգամ սնունդը նա գետնից էր վերցնում բերանով:

Հայտնվելով հիվանդանոցում աղջիկ-մաուգլին աստիճանաբար սկսել է նորմալ քայլել և ձեռքերով ուտել:
Ճիշտ է, նա դեռ խոսել չգիտի, բայց ամեն ինչ հասկանում է և ժպտալով պատասխանում:

Օրերս գտնվել են նաև երեխայի ծնողները, ովքեր երկար ժամանակ է ոչ մի տեղեկություն չունեին իրենց աղջկա մասին: Պարզվում է, որ 10 տարեկան աղջիկը ժամանակին ունեցել է հոգեկան խնդիրներ և ծնողները նրան դեղահաբեր են տվել: Դեղահաբի հերթական ընդունման ժամանակ աղջիկը փախել է տնից` հայտնվելով անտառում և կենդանիների միջավայրում:

Փոքրիկ Ալիզայի ընտանիքին ճանաչողները նշում են, որ այդ օրվանից ոստիկանությունը ոչինչ չի արել աղջկան գտնելու համար:
