Նշվել են պատճառները, թե ինչու Ուկրաինային չեն ընդունի ԵՄ-ում

Չնայած ամպագոռգոռ հայտարարություններին` Ուկրաինան երկար տարիներ ՆԱՏՕ-ին և ԵՄ-ին անդամակցելու հնարավորություն չի ունենա, գրում է The New York Times-ը։

Հեղինակների կարծիքով` մի քանի կարևոր պատճառներ խանգարում են Կիևի ռեժիմին անդամակցել ԵՄ-ին։

Դրանցից մեկը Ֆրանսիայի նախագահի՝ այսպես կոչված, եվրոպական քաղաքական համայնք ստեղծելու գաղափարի ձախողումն է։ Մակրոնի ծրագրի համաձայն՝ պետք է ներառվեն Ուկրաինան, Վրաստանը, Մոլդովան և Մեծ Բրիտանիան։ Միությունը չի ունենա ԵՄ-ի բոլոր գործառույթները:

Երկրորդ՝ Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Զելենսկու ցանկությունը՝ արագացնել Եվրամիությանն անդամակցելու շուրջ քննարկումների մեկնարկը, խախտում է այլոց իրավունքները։ Օրինակ՝ Թուրքիան դիմել է 1987 թվականին, Հյուսիսային Մակեդոնիան՝ 2004 թվականին, Չեռնոգորիան՝ 2008 թվականին։

2013 թվականից ի վեր ԵՄ-ն չի ընդլայնվել։ Անդամ 27 երկրները բավականաչափ տնտեսական խնդիրներ են ապրում, չհաշված «Լեհաստանն ու Հունգարիան եվրոպական արժեքներին համահունչ պահելու փորձերը»: Հրապարակման մեջ ընդլայնման համար կազմակերպության անպատրաստ լինելը նշվում է որպես Ուկրաինայի մուտքը հետաձգելու հիմնական պատճառ։
