Ցեղասպանությունը հայ ազգի բնաջնջման կազմակերպված և կանխամտածված ծրագրի մի մաս էր կազմում. Կիպրոսի Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի նախագահ

Կիպրոսի Հանրապետության Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի նախագահ Անիտա Դիմիտրիուn Հայոց ցեղասպանության 107-րդ տարելիցի կապակցությամբ ուղերձով է հանդես եկել:

Ինչպես տեղեկանում է Հունաստանում Հայաստանի դեսպանության տարածած հաղորդագրությունից, ուղերձում, մասնավորապես, ասված է.

«Ապրիլի 24-ն ամբողջ աշխարհում սահմանվել է որպես երիտթուրքերի կողմից իրականացված հայերի դեմ Հայոց Ցեղասպանության հիշատակի օր: Հայերի Ցեղասպանությունը մարդկության նորագույն պատմության ամենամեծ հանցագործություններից մեկն է, որը սկիզբ է առել 1915 թվականին: Մեկուկես միլիոն անմեղ մարդիկ սպանդի ենթարկվեցին, հարյուր հազարներով դաժանորեն բռնության ենթարկվեցին, բռնի տեղահանվեցին կամ ստրկացվեցին: Ցեղասպանությունը հայ ազգի բնաջնջման կազմակերպված և կանխամտածված ծրագրի մի մաս էր կազմում:

Հայերի Ցեղասպանությունը համաշխարհային պատմության ամենամութ էջերից մեկն է, որը ցավալի հետք է թողել հայ ժողովրդի հավաքական հիշողության վրա, ինչպես նաև՝ բոլոր այն ժողովուրդների, ովքեր բախվել են Թուրքիայի վայրագություններին: Թուրքիայի, որը միջազգային հանրության հանդուրժողականության շնորհիվ ցեղասպանություններ է իրականացրել նաև այլ ժողովուրդների նկատմամբ՝ չճանաչելով մինչ օրս Հայերի ցեղասպանությունը կամ ներողություն չհայցել էթնիկ զտումների և նվաճողական քաղաքականության համար՝ շարունակելով այն ամենը անզղջորեն:

Կիպրոսը Եվրոպայի առաջին երկիրն է, որը ճանաչեց Ցեղասպանությունը՝ 1990 թվականին Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի կողմից միաձայն ընդունված բանաձևով՝ ապրիլի 24-ը սահմանելով Հայոց Ցեղասպանության հիշատակման ազգային օր։

Այսօր, որպես Ներկայացուցիչների պալատ, մենք արդեն որերորդ անգամ դատապարտում ենք այդ զարհուրելի փաստը և միևնույն ժամանակ մեր զորակցությունն ենք հայտնում բարեկամ հայ ժողովրդին՝ դիմելով միջազգային հանրությանը Հայոց Ցեղասպանության համընդհանուր ճանաչման համար։ Կոչ եմ անում մեկ րոպե լռությամբ հարգել Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակը։

Նրանց հիշատակը հավերժ է»:
