Այս քարտեզները 44-oրյա պատերազմի ժամանակ հայտնաբերել էի ադրբեջանական զինծառայողների մոտ. գրպանի զինվորական գրքեր են: Այս մասին գրում է ՀՀ նախկին ՄԻՊ Արման Թաթոյանը` ներկայացնելով լուսանկարներ:

«Պարզ երևում է, որ Հայաստանի զգալի մասը (Սյունիք, Գեղարքունիք և այլն) ներկայացված է` որպես պատմական Ադրբեջան` պատմական փաստերի բացահայտ կեղծիքներով: Անգամ նշված են «ադրբեջանական տեղանուններ»:

Օրինակ՝ «Երբ Ռուսական կայսրությունը փլուզվեց, Ադրբեջանի տարածքը 130 հազար կմ. քառակուսի էր, 1918-1920 թթ. Ադրբեջանի դեմոկրատական հանրապետության տարածքը 114 հազար կմ քառակուսի էր: ԽՍՀՄ շրջանում Ռուսաստանին (Դերբենդի Խանություն, 7 հազար կմ քառակուսի), հայերին (մինչև 1923 թ. Զանգեզուրի, Եղեգնաձորի, Սևանի, Դիլիջանի շրջանները, սահմանամերձ գյուղերը, 1946 թ. 40 կմ քառակուսի, 1969 թ. Թովուզից 7.6 կմ քառակուսի, Ղազախից մոտավորապես 50 կմ քառակուսի) 10.9 հազար կմ քառակուսի է տրվել: Վրաստանին 9.5 հազար կմ քառակուսի է տրվել, այսինքն տարբեր ժամանակներում 27,4 հազար կմ քառակուսի: Մեզ մնացած 86.6 հազար կմ քառակուսուց 13.110 կմ քառակուսին դեռ օկուպացված է:»:

Այսինքն` նրանք եկել էին այս ամենն «ազատագրելու»:

Գրքերում կան նաև խորքային հայատյացություն բորբոքող արտահայտություններ` մեր Հայրենիքի մասին բացահայտ կեղծիքներով. «այս երկիրն իմն է, քոնն է, մերն է», «պատվարժան քաղաքացին չպետք է հանդուրժի խորհրդանիշների պղծում», «խորհրդանիշները պետք է պահպանվեն այնպես, ինչպես երկրի նամուսը, հարգանքն ու պատիվը», «բոլոր խորհրդանիշները սուրբ են» և այլն:

Սա ադրբեջանական իշխանությունների քարոզչություն է, տարիների քաղաքականություն, որ այդ երկրում ձևավորել է հայերի նկատմամբ էթնիկ ու կրոնական ատելության ինստիտուցինոնալ համակարգ` սերունդներով:

Սրանք են ադրբեջանական պատերազմական և մարդկության դեմ ուղղված հանցագործությունների գլխավոր պատճառները բոլոր ժամանակներում»,- գրել է Թաթոյանը:
