Հանրապետության նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանը Նովրուզի առթիվ շնորհավորական ուղերձ է հղել Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության նախագահ Էբրահիմ Ռայիսիին:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին Հայաստանի Հանրապետության նախագահի աշխատակազմից, ուղերձում մասնավորապես ասվում է․ «Ջերմորեն շնորհավորում եմ Ձեզ Նովրուզի՝ իրանական Ամանորի կապակցությամբ։ Արեգակնային տոմարով Նոր տարին Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության համար թող նշանավորվի նորանոր ձեռքբերումներով և հարատև խաղաղությամբ։

Հայաստանի համար առանձնահատուկ կարևոր են հայ-իրանական հարաբերու­թյունները՝ խարսխված բազմադարյա պատմության և փոխադարձ հարգանքի վրա։

Համոզված եմ, որ համատեղ ջանքերով կկարողանանք նոր մակարդակի բարձրացնել փոխշահավետ գործակցությունը՝ հնարավորինս օգտագործելով առկա ներուժը՝ ի շահ մեր ժողովուրդների»։

Ըստ աղբյուրի՝ նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանը շնորհավորական ուղերձ է հղել նաև Իսլամական հեղափոխության գերագույն առաջնորդ Սեյյեդ Ալի Խամենեիին։

Ուղերձում մասնավորապես ասվում է․ «Հայաստանը բարձր է գնահատում Իրանի հետ փոխադարձ հարգանքի և համերաշխության վրա հիմնված բարեկամական հարաբերությունները։

Վստահ եմ, որ առկա են անհրաժեշտ նախադրյալները համատեղ ջանքերով փոխշահավետ գործակցությունն առավել զարգացնելու և ընդլայնելու համար՝ ի նպաստ տարածաշրջանի կայունության և մեր ժողովուրդների բարօրության»։
