Արցախյան 44-օրյա պատերազմում հայրենիքի պաշտպանության և անվտանգության ապահովման գործում ներդրած ավանդի և մարտական գործողությունների ընթացքում ցուցաբերած խիզախության ու նվիրումի համար Հայաստանի և Արցախի Հանրապետությունների նախագահների հրամանագրերով «Մարտական ծառայություն» մեդալով հետմահու պարգևատրվել են Գեղարքունիքի մարզի Սևան համայնքից, Արծվանիստ, Գեղհովիտ, Մադինա և Վարդենիկ բնակավայրերից ծառայության մեկնած կամավորներ Լեռնիկ Վահանյանը, Արթուր Վիրաբյանը, Երվանդ Խաչատրյանը, Գևորգ Օհանյանը, Մանվել Մանուկյանը և Արմեն Գրիգորյանը:

Մենք ամեն գնով պետք է լինենք միահամուռ և ստեղծենք այն երկիրը, որի մասին երազում էին հայրենիքի համար մարտնչող մեր տղաները:

Մենք ազգովի շատ դառն ու դաժան ճանապարհ անցանք, մեծ դժվարություններ տեսանք, սակայն, շնորհիվ մեր քաջարի մարտիկների, այսօր ունենք կանգուն հայրենիք:

Ես վստահ եմ, որ կկարողանանք մեր առջև դրված խնդիրները այնպես լուծել, որպեսզի ունենանք հզոր բանակ, ապահով, մրցունակ ու զարգացած երկիր՝ այդկերպ ապագա սերունդների համար ստեղծելով այն բարեկեցությունը, որի համար պայքարում էին մեր հերոսները:

Երախտապարտ եմ ձեզ և գլուխ եմ խոնարհում մեր հերոս տղաների պայծառ հիշատակի առջև: Վստահ եղեք, որ մենք պատրաստակամ ենք՝ օգնել ու աջակցել ձեզ ցանկացած հարցում, իսկ մեր առջև ծառացած խնդիրների կարգավորման համար պետք է ցուցաբերենք համախմբվածություն՝ հանուն մեր երկրի վաղվա օրվա, հանուն մեր քաջերի թափված արյան»,-գրել է Կարեն Սարգսյանը:
