Հնագետները հայտնաբերել են երկաթի դարի ամենախոշոր պարկուճը Անգլիայի հյուսիս-արեւմուտքում

Շուրջ 30 տարի Լիվերպուլի Ջոն Մուրի համալսարանի Poulton Research Project նախագծի հնագետների թիմը Անգլիայում կորած ցիստերցիանական աբբայության որոնման մեջ է անցկացրել: Այդ ընթացքում դրա փոխարեն թիմը պեղել է միջնադարյան մարդկանց հարյուրավոր մնացորդներ եւ հռոմեական գտածոներ։ Իսկ վերջերս նրանք հայտնաբերել են երկաթի դարի ուշ շրջանի ամենաբովանդակ պարկուճը, որը երբևէ հայտնաբերվել է Հյուսիս-արևմտյան Անգլիայում, գրում է «Техкульт»-ը։

Վերջին 8 տարիների ընթացքում նախագիծը պեղել է 10 բնակարան և գտել ավելի քան 5000 առարկա, որոնք վկայում են այդ վայրում զարգացած և մեծաթիվ հասարակության գոյության մասին։

Այն ցրում է տարածված տեսակետը, որի համաձայն Անգլիայի հյուսիս-արեւմուտքը երկաթի դարաշրջանում նոսր էր բնակեցված։ Գիտնականները կարծում են, որ այս հասարակությունը նյութապես չափազանց ապահով էր գետի շնորհիվ, որը թույլ էր տալիս պահպանել ուժեղ առեւտրային կապեր: Հայտնաբերված բնակավայրի հետքերը ընդգրկում են մոտ 800 տարի ժամանակամիջոց։

Հետաքրքիր են այն հուշումները, որոնց շնորհիվ թիմը կարողացել է գտնել այդ հնագույն բնակատեղին։ Բանն այն է, որ դրա մասնակիցներն ավելի քան 900 մարդու մնացորդներ են գտել ուշ միջնադարի մատուռում։ Սակայն նրանք հանգչում էին այնպիսի իրերի հարեւանությամբ, որոնք այնտեղ եղել են դամբարաններից շատ ավելի վաղ, կարծես թե գերեզմանները փորել են շատ ավելի հին հնագիտական շերտերում։

Գիտնականները առաջ են գնացել եւ իսկապես հայտնաբերել են երկաթի դարի մշակույթի հետքեր՝ կլոր հիմքով 10 խրճիթ եւ դեռեւս մինչեւ մ. թ. ա. 8-րդ դարում ստեղծված բազմաթիվ առարկաներ:

Այնտեղ եղել է կավե սպասք, դեկորատիվ ճարմանդ, զնդան հիշեցնող ինչ-որ բան եւ առու, որտեղ թափոններն էին նետվում։

Ամենից հաճախ հանդիպում էր աղ տեղափոխելու համար նախատեսված սպասք, այնպես որ տվյալ բնակավայրի բնակիչները կարող էին աղ տանել Միդլվիչի շրջանից, որը գտնվում է Փոուլթոնից ավելի քան 30 կմ հեռավորության վրա։

Տեղական չեզոք հողերն ապահովել են միջնադարի եւ երկաթի դարի ավելի փխրուն գտածոների պահպանությունը, իսկ խորությունը բավարար է եղել, որպեսզի դրանք չոչնչանան հողը վարելու հետեւանքով։

Դա ոսկորների, խեցեղենի եւ մետաղի համար նուրբ միջավայր է ապահովել, դրանով իսկ պահպանելով երկաթի դարի առավել ամբողջական պարկուճը, որը երբեւէ հայտնաբերվել է Բրիտանիայի հյուսիս-արեւմուտքի ստորոտներում։
