Փորձագետները պարզաբանել են, թե արդյո՞ք պետք է սպասել ավելի շատ երկրաշարժերի Հյուսիսային Կովկասում

newstracker.ru–ն գրում է, որ Վրաստանում տեղի ունեցած վերջին երկրաշարժից հետո փորձագետները նշել են, որ մոտ ապագայում Հյուսիսային Կովկասի բնակիչները չպետք է վախենան մեծ երկրաշարժերից, թեև փոքր ցնցումներ դեռևս հնարավոր են։

Փետրվարի 13-ի ուշ երեկոյան Վրաստանում Ռիխտերի սանդղակով 6,2 բալ ուժգնությամբ երկրաշարժը ստիպել է կովկասյան և անդրկովկասյան հանրապետությունների բնակիչներին ևս մեկ անգամ մտածել այն մասին, թե մոտ ապագայում ավելի հզոր բանի պե՞տք է  սպասել։ Հնարավոր ռիսկերի մասին խոսել են Վրաստանի և Ռուսաստանի սեյսմոլոգիայի ոլորտի փորձագետները։

Վրաստանի ուսումնասիրությունների ինստիտուտի և Սեյսմոլոգիայի ազգային կենտրոնի տնօրեն Թեա Գոդոլաձեն բացատրել է, որ այնպիսի սեյսմիկ վտանգավոր տարածքներում, ինչպիսիք են Վրաստանը և ամբողջ Անդրկովկասը, նման երկրաշարժերը նորություն չեն, կարող են լինել նաև այնպիսի ավերիչ կատակլիզմները, ինչպիսին էր 1988 թվականի երկրաշարժը Հայաստանում։

«Մենք գիտենք, որ Վրաստանը, ընդհանուր առմամբ, սեյսմիկ ակտիվ գոտի է, հետևաբար նման երևույթները արտառոց չեն համարվում։ Մինչև 5-6 բալ ամպլիտուդով կանոնավոր և թույլ երկրաշարժերը լավ ցուցանիշ են այն մասին, որ ավելի լուրջներին չարժե սպասել։ Նրանք թեթևացնում են լարվածությունը, օգնում են կանխել մեկ, բայց ուժեղ երկրաշարժը»,- ասել է Գոդոլաձեն Mtavari հեռուստաալիքին։

ՌԴ ԳԱ Երկրաշարժերի կանխատեսման տեսության և մաթեմատիկական երկրաֆիզիկայի ինստիտուտի գլխավոր գիտաշխատող Վլադիմիր Կոսոբոկովն էլ իր վերջին հարցազրույցներից մեկում ասել է, որ, ըստ սեյսմոլոգների, Հյուսիսային Կովկասի դաշնային շրջանի և Կովկասի բնակիչներին մոտ ապագայում վտանգ չի սպառնում ի տարբերություն, օրինակ, նրանց, ովքեր ապրում են Կամչատկայում, Կուրիլյան կղզիներում և Բայկալ լճի մոտակայքում։
