Այսօր Չինաստանում նշվում է Գարնան տոնը կամ չինական Նոր տարին

Փետրվարի մեկին Չինաստանում նշվում է տարվա գլխավոր տոնը՝ ավանդական չինական Նոր տարին՝ ըստ լուսնային օրացույցի կամ Գարնան տոնը (Չունցզե), հայտնում է «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ն: 

Նախկինում գարնան տոնը Չինաստանում համարվել է նոր տարվա սկիզբն՝ ըստ լուսնային օրացույցի: Սինհայական հեղափոխությունից հետո 1911 թվականին, երբ գահընկեց է արվել Զին դինաստիան, լուսնային օրացույցը երկրում պաշտոնապես փոխվել է արևայինով (եվրոպական), ըստ որի հունվարի 1-ին սկսեցին տոներ Նոր տարին: Իսկ փետրվարի մեկին շարունակում են նշել գարնան տոնը: Սակայն մարդկանց մեծամասնությունը նախկինի պես գարնան տոնն անվանում է «Նոր տարվա դիմավորում»:

Չինական Նոր տարին պաշտոնապես նշում են նաև Ինդոնեզիայում, Թաիլանդում, Մալայզիայում, Սինգապուրում, Բրունեյում, Ֆիլիպիններում և Մավրիկիոսում:
