Ծանոթ ու միարժամանակ անհայտ… էլեկտրոկիթառ

Կիթառները կարելի է բաժանվել երկու մեծ խմբի՝ ակուստիկ և էլեկտրո։ Էլեկտրական կիթառների հայտնվելը շատ մեծ դեր  է խաղացել  երաժշտության  մեջ, քանի որ առանց դրա շատ երաժշտական ուղղություններ պարզապես չէին ծնվի: Էլեկտրական կիթառի ստեղծման պատմությունը սկսվել է 1920-30 ական թվականներին: Այն ժամանակ սովորական  ակուստիկ կիթառն օգտագործվում էր բազմաթիվ ամերիկյան բլյուզային և ջազային նվագախմբերի կողմից, բայց քանի որ այն գործնականում լսելի չէր, նրան նշանակվել էր միայն ռիթմային գործիքի պաշտոն: Այսինքն պահանջ կար կիթառի ձայնը բարձրացնել: 1923 թվականին սկսել են էլեկտրականության  միջոցով  կիթառի ձայնը բարձրացնելու  առաջին փորձերը կատարվել: Այդ տարիներին քիչ  հայտնի ինժեներ և գյուտարար Լլոյդ Լորը կարողացել է ստեղծել  լարային գործիքների էլեկտրաստատիկ ձայնի ուժեղացուցիչ, որը ֆիքսում էր ռեզոնատորային տուփի թրթռումները և ուժեղացնում այն: Այնուամենայնիվ, նրա գյուտը շուկայում ամբողջովին ձախողվել է: Էլեկտրական կիթառի ստեղծման պատմության մեջ կարևոր ամսաթվերից մեկը 1931 թվականն է, երբ Ժորժ Բոշամը և Ադոլֆ Ռիգբենկերը հորինել են  էլեկտրամագնիսական ձայնի ուժեղացուցիչը: Դրա մեջ էլեկտրական ազդակը անցնում է մագնիսի փաթույթով, ստեղծում էլեկտրական դաշտ և թրթռացող լարից եկող ազդանշան ուժեղանում է:  Հենց հայտնվեց նրանց հորինած  էլեկտրոկիթառը՝ այն անմիջապես կոչվեց «թավա»: Եվ դա այն պատճառով, որ նրա մարմինը ամբողջությամբ մետաղական էր, իսկ տեսքով իսկապես նման էր թավայի, որին  կցված էր անհամաչափ երկար «բռնակ»՝ գրիֆը: Այնուամենայնիվ, պարզվեց, որ այս առաջին էլեկտրական կիթառը  ամենակենսունակն է: Բազմաթիվ փորձարարներ 1930-ականների վերջին փորձել են ձայնի ուժեղացուցիչը տեղադրել իսպանական կիթառների մեջ, որոնք ավելի ավանդական են և ունեն դատարկ կորպուսներ, կամ էլ կիթառին տալ այլ տեսք: Բայց առանց այնպիսի խնդիրների, ինչպիսիք են ռեզոնանսային երևույթները (feedback), աղավաղումները և այլ արտառոց աղմուկների հայտնվելը, ոչինչ չէր ստացվում: Միայն կիրառելով կրկնակի հանդիպակաց  փաթույթ, որը ունակ է «խլացնել» ավելորդ ազդանշանները, հնարավոր եղավ հաղթահարել բոլոր այդ թերությունները: Ժամանակին Լեո Ֆենդերը հիմնել է մի ընկերություն, որը մինչև 1950 թվականը դրոշմում էր էլեկտրոկիթառների պատճեներ, որոնք կոչվում էին  «Esquire» (թարգմանվում է որպես սկվայեր կամ զինակիր): Հետագայում «Esquire»-ին հաջորդել են  «Broadcaster»- ը  և «Telecaster»- ը, իսկ 1954 թվականին արտադրվել է «Stratocaster» անվանված գործիքը: Այդ ժամանակվանից ի վեր էլեկտրոկիթառների այս մոդելը չի ենթարկվել որևէ փոփոխության, քանի որ նրա արտաքին  ձևը առանձնապես չէր խանգարում կիթառի ձայնի որակին: Այնուամենայնիվ  դիզայներները փորձել են  հնարավորինս  իրականություն դարձնել իրենց ֆանտազիաները:  Օրինակ  «ABBA» խմբի կիթառահարի գործիքը իր տեսքով նման էր աստղի, իսկ  «Scorpions» խմբի կիթառահարը ուներ ծիծեռնակի պոչի տեսքով էլեկտրոկիթառ: Էլեկտրոկիթառ արտադրող ընկերություններից  ամենահայտնին թերևս «B.C. Rich and Gibson» ընկերությունն է իր այլանդակ- ծայրահեղական գործիքների ուրվագծերով ու արտաքին տեսքով:  Հենց այդ ընկերության դիզայներներն են ստեղծել «ծիծեռնակի պոչը»: Իսկ ո՞վ է առաջին անգամ նվագել էլեկտրոկիթառով։ Դա առաջին անգամ արել է Լես Պոլը, ով եղել է դաշնակահար։ Ռոքի ծնունդից սկսած՝ էլեկտրոկիթառը եղել է ռոքի անբաժան մաս։ Երբ առաջին անգամ էլետրոկիթառով նվագել են, այն մարդկանց վրա թողել է անմոռանալի տպավորություն և մարդիկ սկսել են ավելի հաճախ գնալ այն համերգներին, որտեղ կա էլեկտրոկիթառ։ Հենց այսպես էլ այն դարձել է հայտնի։
