Աֆրիկայում կտրուկ աճել է COVID-19-ից մահացության մակարդակը

Աֆրիկայում կորոնավիրուսով ախտահարման հետեւանքներից մահացությունը նախորդ շաբաթվա համեմատությամբ ավելացել է 72 տոկոսով: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, ասվում է Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպության (ԱՀԿ) ամենշաբաթյա համաճարակաբանական բյուլետենում:

Ընդհանուր առմամբ աշխարհում կորոնավիրուսով ախտահարման հետեւանքներից մահերի քանակությունը նախորդ շաբաթվա տվյալների համեմատությամբ նվազել Է 4 տոկոսով: Այդ ցուցանիշը, այնուամենայնիվ, աճել է Հարավարեւելյան Ասիայում (9 տոկոսով) եւ ամերիկյան մայրցամաքում (7 տոկոսով):

Աշխարհի մնացած մասերում մահերի քանակը COVID-19-ով ախտահարման հետեւանքներից նվազել է: Ընդհանուր առմամբ շաբաթվա ընթացքում ամբողջ աշխարհում գրանցվել է COVID-19-ով պայմանավորված մոտավորապես 44,6 հազար մահ:

ԱՀԿ-ի տեղեկատվության համաձայն, դեկտեմբերի 20-ից մինչեւ 26-ն ընկած շաբաթվա ընթացքում բժիշկները գրանցել են աշխարհում կորոնավիրուսով ախտահարման շուրջ 5 միլիոն նոր դեպք: Հիվանդացությունն ամենից շատ ավելացել է Հյուսիսային եւ Հարավային Ամերիկայում (39 տոկոսով): Նաեւ 7 տոկոսով ավելացել է վարակման նոր դեպքերի թիվն Աֆրիկայում:

Մյուս տարածաշրջաններում հիվանդացությունը մեկ շաբաթում անկում է արձանագրել կամ գործնականում չի փոխվել:

COVID-19-ի ընդհանուր համաշխարհային հիվանդացությունը շաբաթվա ընթացքում 11 տոկոսով աճել է նախորդ շաբաթվա համեմատությամբ: Համավարակի ողջ ժամանակաշրջանում աշխարհում հայտնաբերվել է կորոնավիրուսով ախտահարման ավելի քան 282,8 միլիոն դեպք եւ ավելի քան 5,4 միլիոն մահ՝ հիվանդության հետեւանքներից, հաղորդել է «Ինտերֆաքս»-ը:
