Եթե Էրդողանը լքի բեմը, դա կլինի դրական զարգացում տարածաշրջանի անվտանգության համար, «Ազատության» «Կիրակնօրյա վերլուծական Հրայր Թամրազյանի հետ» հաղորդման ժամանակ ասաց Ատլանտյան խորհրդի ավագ գիտաշխատող, Տեքսաս-Արլինգթոն համալսարանի դոցենտ Բրայան Ուիթմորը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ դա նաև դրական կլինի ՆԱՏՕ-ի համախմբվածության, նախկին Խորհրդային Միության տարածաշրջանում Պուտինի կայսերական հավակնությունների զսպան համար։

Նոյեմբերի վերջին Թուրքիայում սկիզբ առած բողոքի բազմամարդ ցույցերը չեն դադարում։ Ցուցարարները պահանջում են նախագահ Էրդողանի և նրա կառավարության հրաժարականը։ Ցույցերի առիթը երկրի ազգային տարադրամի փոխարժեքի՝ լիրայի կտրուկ անկումն է․ տարեսկզբից լիրան արժեզրկվել է մոտ 40 տոկոսով՝ արձանագրելով վատագույն ցուցանիշը զարգացող երկրների արժույթների շարքում։

Թուրքիան շատ կարևոր ՆԱՏՕ-ի անդամ է, ասաց փորձագետը՝ շեշտելով՝ Միացյալ Նահանգներից հետո նա ունի երկրորդ ամենահզոր զինուժը։

«Այն վճռորոշ դերակատարություն ունի Սև ծովի անվտանգության առումով: Սակայն Էրդողանի օրոք այն շատ խոչընդոտներ է ստեղծում Սև ծովի անվտանգության առումով ու ավելի շատ Ռուսաստանի խաղն է խաղում: Այնպես որ, ես հույս ունեմ, ես հետևում եմ բողոքի ցույցերին, կարծում եմ, որ հնարավոր է, որ Էրդողանի իշխանությունը ընկնի: Պետք է հիշել, որ այս ավտորիտար ռեժիմները միշտ ամուր են երևում մինչև իրենց անկման պահը: Այնպես որ, ես դա չեմ բացառում», - ասաց Բրայան Ուիթմորը՝ շեշտելով իրենց խնդիրը ոչ թե Թուրքիայի, այլ Էրդողանի հետ է։
