Մինչ աշխարհը կորոնավիրուսի երրորդ և չորրորդ ալիքների շրջանում է մնացել, այդ ընթացքում առաջանում են նոր մուտացիաներ։
 
Օմիկրոն՝ կորոնավիրուսի նոր տարբերակ, որը ունի մուտացման և վարակման բարձր ցուցիչներ։
 
Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպությունը և Հիվանդությունների կանխարգելման եվրոպական կենտրոնը զգուշացնում եմ, որ հարավաֆրիկյան երկրներում տարածված կորոնավիրուսի այս տեսակի վարակը գրանցսել է արդեմ Բելգիայում և կարճ ժամանակ անց կարող է սփռվել ողջ Եվրոպայում։
 
Այս պահին հայտնի է, որ Օմիկրոնը կորոնավիրուսի մինչ այս եղած ամենածանր մուտացիան է։ Գիտնականները կարծում են, որ առկա պատվաստանյութերը ի զորու կլինեն ազդեցություն ունենալ նաև այս մուտացիայի պարագայում։
Սակայն զգուշավորությունն այս անգամ ավելի բարձր մակարդակի է։ Եվրոպայում գրանցված մի քանի դեպքերից հետո վերագործարկվել են բոլոր սահմանափակումները կապված փոխադրումների հետ այն երկրներից որտեղ Օմիկրոնի ակտիվ վարակի շրջան է։
 
Հ.Գ. Մուտացիաները արագ տեղի է ունենում այն երկրներում, որտեղ պաատվաստվածների թիվը շատ քիչ է։
