Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսն ընդունեց Սուրբ Աթոռի փոխպետքարտուղարին

Հոկտեմբերի 28-ին Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում ընդունեց Հայաստանում գտնվող Սուրբ Աթոռի պետքարտուղարի ընդհանուր հարցերով փոխանորդ արքեպիսկոպոս Էդգար Պենյա Պառային և նրա պատվիրակությանը ուղեկցությամբ՝ Վատիկանում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Կարեն Նազարյանի ու Սուրբ Աթոռի առաքելական նվիրակ արքեպիսկոպոս Ժոզե Ավելինու Բետանկուրի։

Ողջունելով Քույր Եկեղեցու ներկայացուցիչների այցը հայոց հոգևոր կենտրոն՝ Նորին Սրբությունը հույս հայտնեց, որ Սուրբ Աթոռի դիվանագիտական մշտական ներկայացուցչության բացումը Երևանում Վատիկանի և Մայր Աթոռի միջև համագործակցության նոր հնարավորություններ կընձեռնի։ Հայոց Հայրապետը հաստատեց, որ Մայր Աթոռի և Վատիկանի միջև ձևավորվել են ջերմ և եղբայրական հարաբերություններ, որոնց վառ ապացույցներն են Հռոմի Սրբազան Քահանայապետերի՝ Հովհաննես-Պողոս Երկրորդի և Ֆրանցիսկոս Պապերի այցելությունները Հայաստան և Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ էջմիածին, ինչպես նաև Սուրբ Աթոռում Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-ամյակի առիթով կազմակերպված միջոցառումն ու Սուրբ Գրիգոր Նարեկացուն տիեզերական վարդապետ հռչակելը։ Վեհափառ Հայրապետն ընդգծեց, որ Մայր Աթոռի ներկայացուցչությունը Վատիկանում ևս նպաստում է երկու եկեղեցիների բարեկամական կապերի առավել զորացմանն ու խորացմանը։

Հանդիպմանն Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը երախտագիտություն հայտնեց Սուրբ Աթոռին և նրա գահակալին արցախյան 44-օրյա պատերազմի ու հետպատերազմյա ծանր օրերին Հայաստանին և հայ ժողովրդին բերած աջակցության, զորակցության, ինչպես նաև ռազմագերիների վերադարձման գործում ներդրած ջանքերի համար:

Հայոց Հովվապետը նաև իր եղբայրական ողջույններն ու բարեմաղթանքները փոխանցեց Հռոմի Սրբազան Քահանայապետին։

Իր հերթին Սուրբ Աթոռի փոխպետքարտուղար արքեպիսկոպոս Էդգար Պենյա Պառան, շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ջերմ ընդունելության համար, Նորին Սրբությանը փոխանցեց Հռոմի Սրբազան Քահանայապետ Ֆրանցիսկոս Պապի բարեմաղթությունները։ Վատիկանի փոխպետքարտուղարը նշեց, որ Սուրբ Աթոռի առաքելական մշտական նվիրակության բացումը Հայաստանում էլ ավելի կամրապնդի երկու եկեղեցիների միջև ձևավորված գործակցությունը։

Զրույցի ընթացքում Վատիկանի փոխպետքարտուղարն Ամենայն Հայոց Հայրապետին հավաստիացրեց, որ Սուրբ Աթոռը կշարունակի ամեն ջանք գործադրել հետպատերազմյա խնդիրների, ի մասնավորի Ադրբեջանի վերահսկողության տակ անցած տարածքներում հայկական հոգևոր-մշակութային ժառանգության պահպանության և հայ ռազմագերիների վերադարձման հարցը հանգուցալուծելու համար։
