Հնարավոր է, որ որոշ ինքնաթիռների սրահներում դուք նկատել եք այսպիսի փոքրիկ, սև եռանկյունիներ։ Airbus A320 ինքնաթիռի գլխավոր օդաչուի խոսքերով՝ այդ նշանները մատնացույց են անում այն վայրերը, որտեղից կարելի է լավագույնս դիտարկել ինքնաթիռի թևերը։ Բանն այն է, որ տեսողական զննությունը կարող է անհրաժեշտ լինել այն դեպքում, երբ օդաչուները կասկածեն ինքնաթիռի օգնող թևիկների դիրքի ճշտության վրա, իսկ էլեկտրական ցուցիչները անսարքությունը ցույց տան։ Բարեբախտաբար, նմանատիպ բաներ հազվադեպ են պատահում։
