Նիդեռլանդներից «Միսս աշխարհ» գեղեցկության մրցույթի մասնակից Դիլեյ Ուիլեմշտայնը հրաժարվել է մասնակցությունից՝ պատճառաբանելով, որ եզրափակչի համար պետք է մեկնի Պուերտո Ռիկո, սակայն այնտեղ հասնելու համար պետք է անպայման պատվաստվի կորոնավիրուսի դեմ:

Ինչպես նշում է Daily Mail-ը, գեղեցկուհու խոսքով՝ ինքը պատրաստ չէ պատվաստման: 21-ամյա Ուիլեմշտայնն ընդգծել է, որ գուցե երբեք էլ չպատվաստվի:

Արդյունքում մրցույթում նրան կփոխարինի երկրորդ մրցանակակիրը:

«Ես մանրակրկիտ մտածել եմ այդ մասին և որոշեցի չպատվաստվել: Ես ընդհանրապես պատրաստ չեմ դրան: Ես դրանից լավ չեմ զգում»,-ասել է գեղեցկուհին:

Չնայած իր «երազանքի» հնարավորությունը բաց թողնելուն՝ Ուիլեմշտայնը պնդել է, որ չի զղջում. «Այս դուռը կփակվի, բայց ինձ համար նոր դռներ կբացվեն»:
